He’s a quick healer but any injury that requires a boot is probably a 4-6 week injury. Just from experience.

they did the MRI and i guess it was not too serious .its a good thing he is not a Receiver because there is no way he is going to play after 2 weeks.

The Cowboys are a massive company with a huge PR team. If Dak does have a significant injury, they’d keep it quiet. Possibly why they didn’t report the grade of the strain. No doubt Dak will attempt to be ready for the Vikings but it may be smart to sit him.

I know nothing about calf strains other than what I read on Google.
But I read this:
TREATMENT
Rest from the activity that caused the muscle strain allows for healing to occur. Immediately following the muscle strain, ice should be applied over the painful area for 20 min. Periodic icing (2-3 times per day) will help to control swelling and reduce pain. Heat should not be applied to the area during the first 7-10 days since this may increase swelling and bleeding within the muscle. A compressive walking boot can permit pain free walking, and expedite healing.

MM tried to call a time out on that video being shown but it was too late before it was filmed. Truth be told if Dak isn't back at practice by mid next week, I don't see a way he should play

If his calf strain was severe he wouldn’t be walking in anything.
He even joked about the media making a big deal about it over the next 2 weeks.
I’ll say this though.. If he doesn’t do proper rehab over these next 2 weeks then it could linger. Once you have this injury it can occur again and again because the scar tissue tends to keep breaking.
He’s got experts around him though.

What level of confidence would you have if he wasn't back? Guess if he is still in his boot we will know the answer, but he has to test it at some point if it is off
