Regardless of your thoughts on the kid or how you feel he will do this year or in the future, anyone not being at least a little happy/excited that he is playing is tough to understand. He’s our second round pick and some (not necessarily in this particular thread) have already backed themselves into the “he stinks” corner and act as if they’d like nothing more than to be able to come on here after the game and say I told you so. I don’t get some fans.

my thoughts are he plays STs and #4 CB which means he should get some snaps. He really hasn’t played a lot of Football even at the College level so easing him in sounds right. Hopefully in limited action he can show some ability and doesn’t look out of place and plays well enough to step into a bigger role if injury strikes or just move up the depth chart by the end of the year and earn some more PT at what is a relatively weak spot behind Diggs. Start with passing Canady and Wright and then set your sites on the guys above him IF all goes well. Most important would be to put himself in position to win the #2 CB spot going into next season. His audition starts tonight. I don’t have expectations of him being a starter or even a key performer for us this year, but I’m very excited to see how he does in a real game. If he struggles a little, that’s fine, because it’s all about game reps and experience and then see what happens...

By playoffs i need him getting AB outta there
Moving him down the depth chart will do. AB as #3 or even #4 is actually really good. The momentum of AB's bad start to the season is overshadowing the fact that he actually hasn't been bad for a #2 the last few weeks. If we're going to continue to build we can't ship everyone out. There are only so many players we can bring in via draft and FA year after year so some lesser talented players will need to be in place as depth.

I meant gettin AB outta that starting spot on the outside. AB played his best ball in the slot

BMF probably will be playing STs only... can't imagine him matching up with those Vikes WRs. Good BMF gets to get his career going tho.
