Not sure if this is true or just an excuse. But, it's not really a good excuse either way for the Vikings coaching staff and defense to have. Considering how Dak was speculated to be out all week long.

It’s really not that simple though. You have to game plan for tendencies. Giveaways from the QB. How high or low do they pass? How long do they sit in the pocket? Do they scramble? 3 Backup QBs won today. Mills won in his first start I believe. It’s hard to plan for backups because you know nothing about them. Things switch up when the backup comes in.
