Might be the 4-6 seconds on many plays Carr had to throw..could be hes still learning in year 2 barely played 16 games now and a great player but not fully polished yet...
a lot of things say hes fine so get passed it..no ones perfect.

diggs isn't finished product yet so thats good thing..

I'm sure he would have got an INT had Carr thrown the same type of passes he threw to Brown to Diggs.

IMO, the lack of a consistent pass-rush without Randy Gregory has shown that the 2ndary's early season success had more to do with the pass-rush than with their abilities...

It's not to say they're bad. Diggs is a solid player. But having a pass rush that forces a QB to make bad passes has definitely benefited the 2ndary

Lack of discipline
Eating the cheese
Lack of accountability

Watch the Ravens play defense
That’s how defense is played
Not how we play it

Decline? Just because a corner doesn't have a pick doesn't mean their declining.
Amazing ballhawks, like Antonio Cromartie or Asante Samuel or any of those great corners, they don't tend to have back-to-back-to-back-to-back 10-interception seasons.

It tends to happen once because they have like their usual year, and then they get a bit of luck bouncing in their direction. That's where those extra interceptions come from. Did they decline being they didn't have more than one pick last season? Of course not.

CBs with ball skills usually take advantage of errant passes that are caused by pressures on the QBs. Once the pressures decline, the number of picks decline accordingly. Diggs' decline in the number of picks he gets have declined, commensurately, with fewer QB pressures coming from our defense.

i think at this point, Diggs is gonna be Everson Walls type, .not a shutdown Deion, Ramsey, Sherman or Reavis.
Not sure he has that kind of and hip to hip recovery speed to be the shutdown type.

He'll give up some big plays, and he'll get some yellow flags but at some point he'll get his fair share of INTs, and big play turnovers too.
He's a gambler.

Some teams may be timid about chasing his side of the field in fear of INTs, ...while other NFL teams will be itchy-trigger to challenge
Diggs in confident they can either get a big play downfield completion on him, ... or a big PI or holding flag on him.

Maybe he could be more hurt than what the Cowboys want to let on, ,.than what Diggs himself is letting on, buy .he's not missed any reported practices nor has he been
on the teams injury list.

Other teams aren't throwing his way as much...I guess.....
I think he is playing above his head.
I want to see him do it again next year, before I claim him the second coming of DS.

Diggs is still goo but was great the first two months. Does anyone rennet his back tightening against Carolina? Then he hurt his ankle later. Is this a possible cause if his struggles? I think he okayed good the last two Gabe’s but he had t as good as before the bye:
Slight Decline???????? Give me a BREAK!!!!!!! Diggs' play has been suspected all year long, yeah sure he has 8 picks but other than that he gives up a lot of catches which equates to a lot of yards! Don't get me started with his COLLEGE style that is resulting in a TON of penalties! I

When any conversation about a CB starts with "Sure he has 8 picks" and its not the following offseason..yeah thats an ender. sorry nothing you say after "he has 8 picks" means much if thats your "whatever" disclaimer.

DIggs has been getting by on being aggressive and making big plays. Good opportunities are harder to come by when you're losing games.

No bigger example of what Diggs brings to the table than the NE game

He literally wins us the game and then loses us the game in 2 back to back plays

Film tells a lot, including for the other teams to dissect tendencies, technique, clues, and habits.

Not paying too much attention, but Diggs has been playing off his WRs the last few games when I’ve keyed in, most likely because of the quality of the QBs they’ve faced. A lot of his INTs came against aggressive man coverage, while playing mediocre passing QBs like Hurts, when the DL gets pressure.

It looked like KC and Mahomes did avoid even throwing to his side a lot.

Plus, teams are attacking us over the middle in the passing game now. This weakness was exposed even in the Eagles game, but Hurts is the passer he is. Few teams tried to consistently exploit it, but Carr killed us over the middle.

Diggs was seriously top flight when that D-line was getting pressure and he could sit on the underneath routes, but he ain't no Deion Sanders like some in the media were floating around early in the season. When Lawrence, Gregory and Gallimore come back I suspect he will grab a few more interceptions. Heck, our other DBs will probably look better too.

Diggs is slightly overrated. He can't handle double moves, his one skill of intercepting the ball has masked that. Diggs requires a great safety.

I think you mean he requires a safety that has much more to offer besides a beating pulse. Kazee is terrible.

Its all pass rush related. More then a few of his pics were because the QB was rushed and made a bad throw. Now that we can't seem to get consistent pressure (outside of Parsons) the opposing team has plenty of time to run double moves and he is being ultra careful because he has been burned a lot in the last 3 or 4 games.
