Once again another game goes where Tony Pollard is under utilized. He needs to be utilized as the #4 receiver using the 2 RB set and motioning him out for routes to create spacing & deep threat. Zeke can stay in pass protection or switch to a run on a light box.

The strength &conditioning coach needs to be forced to run 10 miles for the weak output from the OL. No one on the OL & TE room deserves any free or rest time. They need to be in gym and out on the track getting cardio in 24/7. They don’t get paid to be lard bums.

Pollard is great on screen passes (when Schultz gets half a block) I'm not sure if Pollard has the receiving skills on the other side of the LOS. I just can't recall seeing that from him.

He needs to be used like Christian McCaffrey. That’s his skill set.

Jet motions and sweeps would be nice too to get him in the game with Zeke and maybe drag a man out of the box for Zeke. Same goes for Lamb with that. They need to chill with their 1960s run game and give the OL a little help with play design.

Whatever the deal is the offense needs a lot more Pollard and a lot less Zeke. That’s obvious at this point.

Just about all of the strength and conditioning folks were on the COVID protocol list last week. It was so bad they had to shut down the weight room. So maybe you can cut that department some slack.

I see your back to the crazy posting. We got 6 really talented WRs on this squad. The last thing we need to do is line Pollard up in the slot. HB set screens Im all for.

Pollard can do all of this and I love that Texas route that Carolina uses with him and I think Dallas should use that route against all of this man coverage they are seeing.

Heck just give Pollard options vs different coverage. You could do this with Lamb in the backfield too and it’s such a easy way to get the ball into hands of guys who can make big plays after the catch.

Polladd and Lamb can do this all day.

probably have him start in the backfield and then move him to the slot or out wide. it will force them to move a LB or saftey out or force them to put a CB on him and either way I take the odds. perhaps a few more Zeke, Pollard combos....Zeke is a great blocker, so it gives us that extra blocker we lose with TE, or even have some TE formation with zeke and pollard and then swing pollard out.....it would be such a Moore type of move

We have used Elliot like this. In the backfield then split him out wide. Hit him on the wheel route. Or a quick pass. Pollard could be used like that. But can he catch the ball. And can Moore come up with this stuff. We could dump it off to him over the line. Do something to get him in space.. His speed is awesome. When he got in space down the sidelines I was shocked at how fast he was.

This is the first time I’ve heard the McCaffrey comp and I think you are spot on. They are very similar players. The biggest difference is one plays 95% of the snaps when healthy and the other plays 20%. They should both be in the 70% range to utilize their skill set and keep healthy.

They should be coming up with creative ways to use both.

I truly think they could put Zeke at fullback and do some cool things out of those formations.

Shotgun with 2 backs as well.

Kellen Moore has gone full Garrett in recent weeks and has decided to make nearly 0 attempt of getting guys out in space.

No counters, very few sweeps, it’s just right up the gut with basic formations and no motion.

I don’t know what on earth thinks we can go to New Orleans and just run on them in a classic fashion.

I want to see use pollard in more misdirection and decoy plays...especially in the running game.

We can do Kellen's ONE run play up the middle.....but as a decoy. They can have their 8 man box.....meanwhile more Tony in the flats, more Tony in a bubble or heaven no...a screen.

Kellen is not making them pay for cloggin the middle....he just keeps going in then crying about the run game don;t work. How about use some god dang creativity ya moron.

He needs to get the ball 20 times a game no matter who you want to break that up. The guy had only 7 carries last week and busted a 60 yard TD even when the running was tough. THAT is the big difference between him and Zeke. Pollard has the ability to make something out of nothing. One broken tackle and he is gone. Where zeke is limited to little affect.

So you are saying to scheme the run game open? Whatever happened to the line doing their jobs and opening up holes the old fashioned way? Either way works.

Been talking about.....get Pollard out in space.....since day one, guess I should have made a thread about it. This guy is not built to be banging NFL lines, that is not who he is what he is about about at all, this is a sprinter, his thing is make ya miss then to the house so that is how ya use him. ,

There is nothing reckless, vicious, brutal, about this kid, that is Zeke's gig.

Sweeps, off tackle, flare passes, pitch outs and off the kickoff return team unless losing in the 4th. He is another Terry Metcalf, Timmy Brown, Eric Metcalf, Brian Westbrook, not a Marshawn Lynch.

Lol, as one of the posters here just pointed out that Zeke had a faster combine time than Pollard. As one of the staff writers just pointed out last week when asked about him as a receiver… he’s not as good a route runner as any of the top 5 receivers already on the team!
