Anyone still want to say Tank isn’t a key player for us?

Anyone still want to try and say he isn’t a key player for us or better yet as I read on here that we are a better team without him?
And no, I’m not talking about his contract. Just his ability.

Your not winning a title without him....He is the leader of this defense....people may not acknowledge it....but you can see it on the field.

Uh yeah, for the 1st time that I can remember there’s 3 players in the front 7 opposing teams have to game plan for and some people want to jettison one. Zero sense!

I have been as big a critic of Tank and his contract as anyone, but I never thought he could not play the way he has the last two game. But the fact is, he hasn't played the way he played the last two games in a long time. It is good to see him giving 100% now that he got paid $21 million per year.

Fantastic player when there is a lot of money on the line. He finally realized he is basically in a contract year.

Never have. Tank has always been a big part of our defense.

I want to criticize him for not fitting into my idea of what is culturally acceptable.

can I still do that?

Some people just worry about his contract....
Like it's their money to spend. Tank is a catalytic player in this defense. We saw them perform well without him so the knee jerkers decided he wasn't necessary. This defense has been DOMINANT since he came back from injury. Tell me I'm wrong.

I have been vocal in my dislike for Tank. But he was outstanding today.

As we should bro. Cowboys are currently over $12 million in the hole for 2022, and that's because there are over 20 current players about to become free agents with several being key players.

Jerry has overpaid a handful of players, along with several no longer on the team. That is a big problem that we all are going to realize as soon as this season is over.
If they make it to the big game that is a small price to pay. my two cents

Yeah I've been dogging Tank for about 3 years. I felt he was over rated. But he dominated today and last week he was a factor as well. My ability to make an argument about his value is diminishing each week. He's been a force lately. Go Tank, keep shutting me up!!

I was in favor of releasing Tank in the offseason after his injury but the way he is playing I would give him a raise. Tank clearly is the best defensive linemen on this team and the leader of the defense.

This is the mistake. We are finally in a position of power and he has stepped it up big time. We need to ride this out for the season and hope he continues to ball out then let him sign a massive free agent deal somewhere else. If you think that this is an indication of what he would be like for the next 5 years on a 100 million dollar guaranteed deal then you simply have not been paying attention.

I cannot see the team releasing Tank, when he is still playing at a high level. Extend him and spread out the cap number.

If D Law played football for the love of the game he would be a sure fire hall of famer. His physical ability is unquestionable. He is a mercenary who plays for money. That is also fine there is nothing wrong with that. Management just needs to be smart. Fall in love with this type of player and you will pay dearly.
