In my opinion, the O line is our biggest weakness going into the Playoffs. They need to improve their pass blocking, and especially their running blocking. The ticky tack and obvious, holding penalties are coming at the worst time, killing drives.

Dak needs to improve his play too. The Cardinals defensive scheme seemed to have him unsure of himself. He spent much more time at the LOS making adjustments, or fake adjustments. I think he is trying to do to much. Possibly audibling out of running plays into pass plays. ( How can he play so well vs a Belicheat defense, then play so mediocre vs a depleted Cardinals defense? )

Thoughts?

Too late for improvement on the roster, this is the hand that's been dealt.

I would say the one thing that could be improved and is in the most need of improvement is self-analysis. Drop the whining about the officiating, own the mistakes and stop thinking they are special because they are Dallas Cowboys. They have done nothing but win the East, not enough to brag about when they're 5-0 against them and 6-5 against the rest of the field.

For 25 seasons, I have seen a team deserving of no awards rewarded by this enabling owner and it is the number one problem with this team. Did they earn that new stadium? Hell no, they embarrassed themselves with the losing the last game in the previous one and the first game in the new one but it was a real show. Did they earn that Star? Hell no. Did these teams of the last 25 years earn that America's Team label? Hell no. They bask in the glow created by those that preceded them.

As long as players think there is something special about the uniform they wear without them earning that, this franchise will win nothing. Parcells knew that, he knew the Cowboys players were the most spoiled ones in all of sports.

Every player, including the QB, needs to do some soul searching and own their mistakes because until they own them, they are destined to repeat them.

Offensive line gets my vote. Those guys are coasting on past accomplishments and reputation. This is likely their last real shot at a championship. Get it together or get disbanded. There's no reason to invest so much in a group of underachievers.

You could argue a few:

Offensive line could be more consistent

Quarterback play could be more consistent

Pass rush (not a position group) could be more consistent. They look great at times and then other times they seem to disappear a bit.

o line and running game. everything else will trickle down from there if we are able to run the ball better.

Some players need to step up.

Zeke, Dak, Cooper on offense. The OL needs to block better. Kellen Moore needs a better game plan more than anything.

On defense get Malik Hooker in the game and stop messing around with KaZee and Wilson. Wilson is good near the LOS but they have Kearse for that. Hooker is better if pass coverage. He is smarter for one thing.

Where can the team realistically garner some improvement? I think the play calling and situational concepts within the passing game need to improve. Tony Pollard can not be limited to 3 totes against a team that is mediocre against the run. Need more crossing/drag routes and RBs leaking out into the middle of the field post chip.
