I was a fan of Wentz after the FCS game in Frisco and was hoping Dallas could/would draft him. It looked to me like he had the tools and the way he carried himself in the interviews. He was a 5 year player so more experienced. I know there were question about the level of competition he faced, but winning a Championship at any level is nothing to dismiss.
It’s strange to me how he has regressed so much from 2017. Maybe the big money contract affected his psyche. Or he couldn’t handle the sainthood bestowed on Foles and the QB controversy it created. Regardless, he likely has next year to resurrect his career. I just don’t see the Colts moving on until after next year because they don’t have another option.
