This loss was so monumentally bad that my taste for any football is toast. I won’t watch another minute of it. I am excited to get my Sundays back. Plus the guy that has ruined this franchise is having a bad night. That pleases me to no end.

It is just a game folks. After 26 years this should not surprise any of us. Try to have a good night.

When I die I want the Cowboys to lower me in to my grave so they can let me down one more time.

It will be a long time before this one stops stinging. I'm a sore loser, I hate what this team has become, and I hate knowing that I will now be 47 before we have another chance to not win another Super Bowl. It's made worse by seeing all the footage of the glory years of ancient history in the Cowboys/Niners feuds this week. Mortality starts to creep into the picture the older I get, and I'm legit scared I won't be able to taste another SB victory. No lie, if I live to see us hoist another trophy, I'm going to cry like a baby.

It’s definitely not a surprise.

I was hoping for a more competitive game though.

I agree. I think this can be one of those blessings in disguise. I’m done with football for the time being. Including next season. Going to try to do something more valuable with the time. I wanna take up swimming, maybe some other active related things.
Maybe practice and try out for quarterback?

Guarantee I won't watch another game from this trash league until my trash team takes the field for the annual disappointment.

No doubt that games like this make my massive decrease in interest over the past few years a weird silver lining.

This would've sent me into a multi-day bad mood 7-8 years ago.

Didn't surprise me at all. Seen this soap opera for for decades. I call for a SF 31 Dallas 26 final.
But 2022 will be another season of the blinded Dallas fans to dream about another Superbowl run after they team all those sub par .500 team and can call everyone Cowboy haters if you don't dream with them

I wish you great sundays.

But maybe you will come back to football. There are enjoyable teams. Especially in the AFC. They are much more authentic than the Cowboys. Its a great sport nevertheless.

Anyways.

Whatever you decide, i wish you all the best.
I don’t mind losing if a team just outplays you and is better than you. What I do mind is how we lost today. Absolutely no heart for most of the game and the stupid penalties. We had 6 pre snap penalties and 14 all together. That is just embarrassing.

Losing sucks but I love football and love Wildcard weekend. I won’t let Jerry ruin that. Watching Steelers/KC right now.

I respect your decision. We start year 26 of zero div playoff wins and the fuhrer is the only constant the past 26 seasons. I stopped buying Jerry gear ten years ago and spend it on Mavs and Stars gear, both teams try to put the best team and coaches available to try to win. The fuhrer will have his usual temper tantrum that we lost again and will vow to mk changes (i.e., a new coat of fresh paint for the Cowboys Titanic) without making the fundamental change at GM that would indiciate "Jerry really wants to win". But we both know that won't happen and it will be business as usual.

I remember when we were the gold standard of the NFL. Now we are just Jerry's fool's gold that he sells every training camp. We maybe we'll make it 100 years (only 74 more seasons to go) without a championship like the Cubs and Red Sox. Jerry and son sure ain't changing what is fundamentally wrong with this team and unless the NFL makes the fuhrer sell the team, get ready for GM Spaulding, and his son, etc lather rinse repeat. Now who wants to pad Jerry wallet by buying Cowboy's SWAG?

Oh I thought the news was going to be that Jerry fired the whole team then sold it Elon musk.

I agree. After 46 years of insane rooting I’m done. I can’t do it anymore. I maybe cheered once this game. I’ll watch but I’m finished with any hope for this team as long as Jerry or the Jones’s own it. So I guess I’ll watch it from my coffin

Jerry doesn't care.
He cares about making money. That is all he cares about and he is good at it.. I will hand him that. The Cowboys don't have to do well in the playoffs for the fans to come back year after year.
Instead of the fans putting all the blame exactly where it should go... Jerry Jones, they just come right back the next year and expect different results. I'm a season ticket holder with 4 tickets and I didn't attend a single
game this year. Instead I made $7000 in profit and watched from home. This was nothing more than another mediocre team that was poorly coached. Even in the playoffs they have Zeke back there who is worthless and they have
a much better play maker in Pollard that should be the starter. But the coaching staff is too dumb to realize it. It's the same thing every year.. puppet coaches or retread coaches that are clueless. Jerry's ego won't allow anything else.
