Brisker is probably the only one that's a need assuming we don't re-sign a FS or cut Amari Cooper.

I believe the trick to this draft will be to see who is there at 23 or 24.

Check and see if we can send Collins and a 2023 pick to someone for a 2nd round pick. Save some cash and start Steele.

Ship Jarwin and a 7th rounder for a 5th rounder.

Ship Anthony Brown and a 6th rounder to the lions for Jeff Okudah and a 3rd rounder

Ship Jourdan Lewis and a Future pick for a 5th rounder

Let everyone walk but Malik Turner Jayron Kearse and Cedrick Wilson.

Aim for O.J. Howard or David Njoku as a TE

Sign Patrick Peterson and a DL man of some sort

Then draft away.

23 Nakobe Dean LB Georgia
2nd Darin Kinnard OT/OG Kentucky
2nd Phidarin Mathis DT Alabama
3rd Wandale Robinson WR Kentucky
3rd Jaxson Kirkland OG Washington
4th Brian Asomaoh ll LB Oklahoma
5th John Ridgeway DT Arkansas
5th Jameer Salyer OG Georgia

I'm going OT (Penning/Frere), OG (Green/Zion), Edge (Cam Thomas/Tre Walker) or LB (Lloyd/Dean)

Penning and NPF will probably go higher than that

I thought going into the playoffs, I would not be in Draft Zone until February. Hello guys, what players can we get at 24. Interior offensive linemen and monster defensive tackle is what I am looking at.

Agreed, with Diggs, Parson, etc. the back 7 is in pretty good shape.

Draft OL and DL, with a good LB if one happens to drop to Dallas' spot. I do think Parsons, LVE, etc. can be good enough at LB, not to say we'd not like better but you can't draft top players at every position.

I have several players that are "must" to be released. Don't care how much it costs, trade them if possible, but if not possible they still have to go:

CONNOR WILLIAMS. Constantly beat, constantly pushed back and constantly getting penalties. NO. 1 on the list.
Gregory. Yes he gets sacks, but (again) constant penalties, he costs games more than he wins them. Armstrong, if he gets more play, imho can be just as good as Gregory.
McGovern. I mean, he's an offensive lineman and they use him for fullback? Obvious he can't handle the guard position, or he'd be in there in place of Williams.
Gallup. He's pretty good when he's in there, but he's had too many injuries, two just this year. In a pre-cap year I'd keep him, but he'll cost too much for somebody that may go down for an extended period at any time, it appears.
Noah Brown. He's done little while on the Cowboys, can be replaced with a rookie or cheap free agent.
Tyron Smith. Man, I love Smith as a player, still pretty good. But Cowboys need to get his replacement in there NOW, linemen can produce quickly but they do need at least a year or two to be really good, don't make the mistake of hanging on to him until he has to suddenly retire, and you're left holding the bag.
Zeurlein.. He's not bad, but misses too many easy kicks, and he's a 10 year vet, costly.

There are others, mainly defensive tackles, but I'd have to research them in more detail and at this point I'm aggravated enough, don't feel like doing it.

Suffice to say it's time to make big changes on this team....

Ehhhhh. Couple of the WRs I like but I can't use a 1st round pick on a WR. Penning has some upside but seems like a risk. Petit-Frere is decent. I like Gardner.

I don't mind Penning but not sure he's a sure-thing 1st round Tackle. I'm not a Petit-Frere fan at all.

WR could very much be a need with pending free agents Michael Gallup, Cedrick Wilson, Noah Brown, and Dalton Schultz.

I suspect one of Wilson or Brown (if not both) are back.

And even then, with the issues along the OL and DL, taking a WR in the first round just seems like we haven't learned a damn thing. Yeah, if they are BPA, I get it but it's hard to justify a WR when you are have clear issues at DT and OL. Shoot, DE is a real problem too especially if Gregory walks.

Your DEs next year would be Lawrence, Basham, Golston, Armstrong. Ewwww.
