As far as I'm concerned, Moore can go. A new OC is needed. Here are a few options in no particular order of my thoughts and from the above link:

  • Matt Nagy - Horrible HC, but he was a good coordinator in KC, is of the Andy Reid tree (massive upgrade over the Garrett tree), and specialises in QBs. Also, he wasn't afraid to run it even in Chicago.
  • Josh Gattis, University of Michigan OC: Named the top assistant coach in the nation this year, Gattis has put together an impressive resume in just a decade in coaching. I'd love to see him in the mix, especially after how Michigan looked this season.
  • Frank Smith, Chargers OL coach/run game coordinator: Before joining the Chargers he was the position coach for Darren Waller in Vegas. I'd potentially choose him because online is the name of his game and he likes to run the ball. We need to run the ball more. So, he could influence some better run games and the overhaul of our oline.
These are some options that I saw and that I could think of that I liked. Who would you all go with?

We have one as our HC too. I don’t even know what to do, but it must be suited to get your best players the ball. Get rid of the RB draw from shotgun. Get rid of sticks routes. Get rid of it all. Dak is smart….he can learn a new offense. It’s time

I hope someone with CONSISTENT playcalling. Not an OC who is aggressive and creative one week, then the next calls plays like we've got the 5th string water boy behind center, and returns to running the ball up the gut on first downs.

That's sort of where I'd go with someone like Nagy or Frank Smith. Nagy is consistent with his playcalls and Frank Smith loves to run it. We needed to run it better against SF. So, Frank Smith would be a great fit.

Agreed, and maybe a new offense could do some good. Too much Garrett still in this offense. That's also partly why I want Nagy as OC. It gets us someone from the Reid tree, meaning we can shift more to a Reid offense away from a Garrett offense.

Fans have complained about the OC since the Bruce Coslet days. At some point look at the players.

They never had an answer for 2 high safeties and we get a lot of penalties.

Maybe it’s the players but poor coaching is involved.

Dak can’t run this current offense at a high level against good teams.

I don’t think it matters much anymore.

How many head coaches have we had since Jimmy left.

The results are all the same.

The Andy Reid who refuses to run the ball?

the qb two thumbs is a big problem and so is the coaching and culture with this team not sure it will ever get any better until they find a comptent qb
