I know right now they're saying MM is staying but they would be negligent if they don't kick the tires on Pederson. Pederson won the Super Bowl with Foles and other backups at key positions. He is good at Xs and Os. His Super Bowl win was one of the most impressive of all time considering how depleted they were at key positions. MM was carried by Rodgers and a stacked team.

Question is how much of that SB winning team was Frank Reich calling the plays, and a much better defense? I thought Pederson was a joke his first season but he impressed me on that SB winning team. I mean Dak is better than Wentz and we have better weapons for the most part, but their scheme has always been a class above ours

I think Pederson did more than some people think. His issue though is he didn't want to have all upper decisions overseen by Lurie and Roseman. I don't know if he would play well with Jerrah.

You mean that joke that was exposed the minute Frank Reich left the building? If you're going to come up with an idea, come up with a good one. This one is lazy and it sucks.

Gotta be careful with him.

Yes, great job in that one season they won the SB. But a lot of the criticisms at the end are things that might rub Cowboys fans the wrong way. For example, he can get real pass happy at times and not run the ball much. Now, I am not suggesting we need to go back to three yards and a cloud of dust but Pederson might be too far the wrong direction.

You also need a strong DC with him. He tends to not want to muck himself down in the details of the defense.

However, the reaction of Philly fans of their SB winning coach now coaching the Cowboys? Priceless.

How was he exposed? What are you talking about? He wasn't even fired over his performance or results with Philly, it was a power struggle.

Also, while I like Reich, he's not exactly lighting the world on fire and Pederson got more out of Wentz than Reich has.

I like Pederson but he may headed to the Bears

Jim Harbaugh is the only one I think that could push McCarthy out.

Moore has to go. He is predictable and sloppy.
No fight just keep pushing zeke up the middle and let Pollard have the outside.
Predictable.

No trick plays with Zeke to throw them off the push the middle.

Given how Pederson's tenure ended in Philly I suspect Jerry Jones is the last guy he'd want to work for. He clashed with the GM over personnel and got fired.

What has Reich done since the Super Bowl? Lose to the Jags this year with the season on the line with his boy Wentz? Pederson was in the playoffs four out of five years. He has more playoff wins in five years than we have in 25 years. Hell, Nick Foles has more playoff wins (4) than we have over the past 25 years. Chew on that for a while. You are making fun of a SB winning coach after the way we just played? SMH.

Yeah, the so-called "joke" that won a SB ring with a depleted roster and a backup QB and has more playoff wins than the Cowboys combined since '00

He may be in the OC conversation if by some miracle Moore leaves or gets fired.

Maybe but Wentz went to **** as soon as Reich left the building. So it wasn't like Pederson was the one getting the most out of Wentz by himself. Wentz tanked soon after Reich bolted.

By the time Reich got him in Indy, he's hit rock bottom as a QB.

What has Pederson done since Reich left? Over the next three seasons after the SB year, both made the playoffs twice, both got bounced early. I think Reich actually won more games from 2018-20 (yep 22 wins for Pederson to 28 for Reich).

I think Wentz went back to his normal self this year. I think it was as combination of Wentz not being elite and the Eagles being injury ridden his final season. He's a good QB just not elite.

But I like Reich, Pederson, and McCarthy and think they are all on a pretty similar level with Reich being a notch below since he doesn't have that playoff success.

Reich has done nothing in Indy! Only reason they look decent is because they have the best running back in the league!
