If you were GM and could do so, would you trade Zeke for Saquon?

I would.

I’ll hang up and listen.

Barkley has played in 16 games in one out of four seasons. He may have more dynamic ability than Elliott, but he's had less success. This year, he averaged 3.7 ypg in 13 games and rushed for 573 yards. It's hard to blame the Giants for getting rid of him, especially since he only played in two games the previous year.

Imagine if Barkley had done that here. Fans want to get rid of Elliott and he broke 1,000 yards and had a 4.2 average this year.

Two guys with Hall of Fame talent.

If those two played in a past era they would be legendary.

Zeke wouldn't have liked having to actually earn his money, but he would have gotten it done back then.

Probably also could have grabbed all the boobs he liked and no one would have ever heard about it, among other things.

Wrong place, wrong time.

Zeke is a decent back, not our best one, he just doesn't play up to his contract

If those 2 played in a past era, they would be injured even more often. The NFL is much softer and kinder than it used to be.

Trade a guy who fought through injury and still put up 1000 yards on one leg for a guy who stumbled to half that many yards despite being much healthier? Sure where do I sign?

I thought this forum couldn’t hit rock bottom what with Mike Fisher drive through lunch selections getting threads but this takes the cake. Trading one of the toughest RB in football for a guy as brittle and any player in football.

Man, if you think Z isn't worth the money....

Saq is a loss of yardage waiting to happen. He never was anywhere near the RB Z was at one time. No way.

Can we trade for Derick Henry instead?

No, but we could have drafted him in the 2nd round of the same draft we got Zeke from.

But those first 2 years in the league, there was no question who was the better back.

Are you serious? Saquon Barkley hasn’t played a full season since his rookie year. He’s missed 18 games the past three seasons with injuries. He’s rushed for just over 600 yards the past two seasons. He only had one 100 yard game in 13 starts this past season and averaged only 3.7 a carry. He’s been trending down. The arrow is pointing down on Zeke as well but I would rather have him than Barkley, he doesn’t miss games.

H*** no. And you’d likely be fired as the GM after the season.
