Jerry and Stephen spend more time speaking to the media than their own coaches and team.

I have said it hundreds of times the last couple weeks. The Jones' sole driver is to remain relevant personally and professionally. Seeing their names in the news, or stories they leaked, is a positive for them. All they care about is the brand, not the product.

could very well be. Everyone usually assumes that it’s planned PR based leaks but there are people within the organization that are always looking to move up. Those are what the media calls “un-named sources”
