Plus drops another 10 mil once Collins cut? Just tell Wagner and other free agents wait till June 1 and we will sign em

I don't know how much Wagner has left in the tank, but I would like to see him on this defense. Just think, the Cowboys could have drafted him years ago in the 2nd round if they didn't give up that pick to move up for Mo Claiborne.

Yeah, but than they wouldn’t have had Mo Claiborne. :)

As for the current cap they had 28.5 million BEFORE the Hooker, Armstrong, Sprinkle, LVE, Gifford, Washington, and Fowler signings. A rough estimate of maybe $15-18 million of space left seems accurate depending on the structures of the new guys' deals. Too early to call.

It's just too bad they have to wait a couple more months to get Collins' $10 million of space.

The cap doesn’t matter. Don’t worry about it. There are a few posters on this board that thinks the salary cap is a fairytale. Of course when the team can’t afford to sign decent players, those experts disappears.

You're right, but the Cowboys had interest in Wagner and tried to trade back into the 2nd round to get him. And if they kept the picks they traded for Claiborne they would have ended up with DT Michael Brockers and Wagner in that draft. Sad.

Rams would have taken Brockers with or without their trade down to Cowboys spot. They didn't want Claiborne.
