I feel this season is a tipping point for the Jones boys. If they don't do much more to upgrade this team other than the draft and this team goes 1 and done again next year or worse, I can see some of the fan base checking out. I know I will start getting disinterested. This team had a big chance to go after it this year with the NFC getting weaker and what have they done for far? Gave away Cooper and Collins for nothing to create more cap space just to sit on it while watching a bunch of teams make big moves. Chargers already have Bosa go out and trade for Mack. Those are the type of moves that can put you over the top. Remember when they did that with Haley?? Imagine Parsons and Mack together?? The Jones boys don't look to make those type of moves anymore. They seem content with being good enough and trying to be cute with depth guy signings. If we are fed the same crap this year then they stop becoming appointment TV for me and forget buying or going to games. Just my opinion how do you guys feel?
Funny you mentioned this. I was just at this very moment...losing enthusiasm. I was thinking at this moment, the only reason I;d watch is in hope Zeke returns to good form. And maybe watch Anger punt, I like that guy! And the name alone is worth admission.

I don't think Jerry will feel my wraith. I can;t go to AT&T games, and I don;t buy much merch. {shrug}.

Worst offseason in team history and there are still posters on this board defending the dummy and son.

And believe it or not, I can at least respect JJ slightly for at least working hard enough to buy the Cowboys and to find new and creative ways for the NFL to be financially sound. Stephen? I have zero respect for. He’s earned nothing, learned nothing, has nothing on the line, and has accomplished nothing, and can do whatever he chooses with nothing at stake. He’s the worst.
The only hope that I have is for the curly hair, booger eating grandson that may take over one day. Spaulding is my only hope. My father was a massive Cowboy fan since the team was first formed. He joked about him passing away before the team would return to greatness. He started making those comments over 25 years ago and he kept hoping for improvement until he died in November the 20th of last year. He had developed dementia, but he asked me about the recent Cowboy news until the day he died. I have told my grandson the exact things that my father told me. I am 55 and I have little hope of the Cowboys winning another Super Bowl before I die. Thanks Jerry.

If my loyalty to the Cowboys as a fan depended on the actions of the Jones's, I would have checked out decades ago. I am a Cowboy fan and the fact that they are owned by a delusional narcissist is a handicap I have to confront.

Notice I didn't say I had to accept it.

Sorry to say this - Cowboys will not be a playoff team next year. You can bring in whoever as coach and it wont matter.

Sad but true. I’m 47 and feel like I will never see one with this clown family running things.

Already passed the tipping point for me. Not nearly as interested as I used to be. I might watch the highlights after the game on the interwebs, but I have better things to do with a nice Sunday afternoon in the fall then kill 3 hours with this slop.

I think it's a little too early to say "worst offseason in team history" because we still haven't gotten to the draft yet. After the draft I think it's fair to make that call or not. Not that I think Jerry and son are competent or defendable. They're terrible. But there is the occasional draft that otherwise salvages disastrous offseasons before.

It's like guessing right now what the 2022 season record will be right now without knowing what the roster will be like. Given the gutlessness of their play in the playoffs, I think this team will struggle to make the playoffs unless the other three teams in the division suck again.

Like all things with the Cowboys the last decade plus- I’ll believe it when it happens.

Cowboys fans continue to pay up and show up which the Jones boys see as validation. Until there is either an economic backlash or public sign of displeasure from fans, the Jones cartel will chug along, selling their mediocre product hard. They are good at selling. They are clueless about winning games that matter most on the field.

If those guys ever worked as hard at putting together a quality organization that enabled real football people to make football decisions- especially as hard as they SELL their trinket roster- they would actually have a decent shot at winning a SB. But these guys don’t want to win a championship if that means taking a back seat in any way.

Anyone who says Jerry really wants to win a SB is either not paying attention or believes what JJ says more than what he does. Because if he wanted to win more than anything, he would have long ago stopped the charade that he knows what he’s doing as a GM. He doesn’t. We have a quarter century of receipts.
I agree on all except this "Anyone who says Jerry really wants to win a SB "

I think he does, but he wants to do it as GM , not hire anyone to do it for him.
Jerry has been GM too long, over 30 years, and he cant handle giving up that title or the job.

Also what if he did and 2 years later they won a SB? maybe 2 in a row! what would that make jerry look like to the world? Like a bozo lol.
and you know he doesnt want that, so those things keep him from giving up the title.

He has already given up some of the duties to mclay , and he could do that more, and just make it look like he is still GM.
But he enjoys the job he has had for over 30 years, and he wont give that up.

I think he is also trying to do what jimmy did in 3 years lol, and he is determined to do what jimmy did.
I think he is frustrated that he hasnt been able to do that, and that is big reason he is still hostile about jimmy, and no roh.

The process hasn't begun yet.

First its going to be a "stellar" draft. Then its going to be rumors that a bunch of players look great in offseason workouts. When training camp starts, the coaches are going to be "amazed" at how great the team looks. Jerry will say "my goal is always the super bowl and things look good". Finally, the regular season will start and Dallas will beat the "much improved" Giants or Commodes 27-10.

Everyone will be back on the wagon.

tipping point was end of the 2016 season, not letting romo play at end of season, or in playoffs, not paying murray, and keeping JG too long, just ended my former fanhood.
I still can enjoy the games and watching the circus operate lol. I just dont mind if they lose, in fact I expect them to lose in playoffs, and other big games.

I know losing big games or playoff games bums jerry out, so I enjoy that too.

I've already reached the tipping point. If everyone followed my lead the Jones wold already be panicking economically.

The Jones Boys are bargain basement players, they're first in line when it comes to shopping for stiffs in this league. Jones Boys would rather spend theiir bank on yachts and illegitimate kids. These slaps won't be getting to a SB anytime soon, as a matter of fact JJ will be dead and gone before they get back to the promise land.

I looked at the Dallas schedule, and this year will be a duplicate of last year.

Dallas will win between 10 to 12 games, win the division, and host a playoff game.

I wish I felt that positive right now...
