The dominoes are beginning to topple. Can you feel it?

First Jerry jacks up ticket prices 13%, then signs with a cryptocurrency firm. Now, on the heels of that, he cuts the back-up punter.

The tectonic plates are shifting man.....big stuff. REALLY big.

I should be angry about something... someone help me out here.

You can be angry that he never got to realize his full potential as Dallas Cowboy and we all must live with that regret. Its just not fair!

Exactly. I am thinking that hush money scandal was nothing more than a clever distraction for the rest of the league. I was waiting for big moves and bang here is the first domino.

You know what, forget this. First the cheerleaders scandal, second Cooper, Collins and Gregory gone, then illegitimate child pops up and now Hunter released!!!!

I'm done, cutting some punter I completely forgot about is the last straw.

Apparently the trade market is thin for an average punter coming off an injury.

Thought we could land a 5th round pick for him.
The trade market is thin for punters at all, and even the better punters coming out of college may not get a 5th rounder (or 6th or 7th) spent on them in the draft. For the most part teams feel like they can find a punter without using up much in the way of resources.

Sounds like a normal wait till player is healthy enough to pass a physical so he can be released without injury settlement.

Always feel bad for the guys who don't have what it takes to make a particular team.
Better for him to get waived now. It gives him a chance with a team that didn't just sign a veteran punter.

I do have more empathy for player than when I was younger.
- Especially players that get injured because I had a near identical injury to Dak a few years ago.

Makes sense with the re-signing of Anger, although Niswander would have been a good camp leg to have around in case something happens to Anger. Can't blame him for wanting the chance to compete for a job elsewhere, though.
