Here ya go CouchCouch. A perfect opportunity for you guys to apply the "no off thread topic posts" allowed rule.

Your post in the thread CB Nahshon Wright was deleted. Reason: This thread is NOT about Joseph!

This thread is NOT about Dak Prescott, so the post should be deleted right?
Yup, should be....but won't....

Jerry is 16th. Right in that sweet spot of positively average.

The writeup is pretty spot on. They draft fairly well but it's just about every other aspect of team building that they aren't all that good.

Just like we have said all along with this team. Not a bottom feeder, but mediocre at best and always hovering around .500 . but not championship caliber. Jerry falls right there in the mediocre category. That is the best this team can do and their ceiling as well.

12-5 is not hovering around 500. Its not close to mediocre either. Agreed they arent championship caliber, but one could argue, before the Oline went south they were a contender. At 7-1 the Cowboys offense was crushing teams with the run and the pass and the defense was getting better.

Those seasons are the anomaly just like 2016....but for the most part you can count on one hand the past 26 years this team has had a record like that. And promptly one and done in the playoffs says a lot.

Not really. The Cowboys seem to be doing the every other year thing. And that's related more to injuries then anything. An anomaly is more of a once in 10 year type thing.

Garrett is gone.......................MM and this team have nothing to do with the last 26 years.

After 2020 you types were predicting doom and gloom again and we went 12-5. How about waiting until the offseason is over and we see what kind of team we have?

I know how you Dak haters get real excited about seeing the Cowboys fail so you can blame it all on the QB.

Depending on what criteria is used, my criteria places him pretty far down near the bottom, not interested in teams worth, franchising and BS like that.

“They draft fairly well” LOL

No they do not

Relative to the league? Yeah they do.

I think we are so sheltered and don't see what goes on around the league. Many pundits and analysts have used various methods to value drafting success and the Cowboys are usually near the top. I think some here equate drafting well with postseason success and since we have none that means we stink at drafting. But there actually isn't that strong a correlation between drafting well and postseason success. Because drafting alone doesn't get you squat.

So it’s Jerry’s fault the team sucks. But when a list does not have him near the bottom or at the bottom. It is someone’s else’s reason he is ranked higher.

Yeah, it's kind of Jerry's fault what they suck. You can't build a SB team alone just drafting. Jerry and his son have screwed up FA and coaching hires and that's 2/3rds of building a winning roster.

I thought he was the worst one.....I heard it hear, so it must be true.
you are missing the point. You don't keep your job for 25+ years if you are average. You either produce or your are out. That's the way it works anywhere else BUT here!

P.S. - Jason Garrett realized real quick that he was no longer in Dallas. From head coach in Dallas, to offensive coordinator in NY, to USFL broadcast booth!!!!!!! Just OUT the NFL all together!

No they dont

Yes they do

For example, did you know that from the years 2010 to 2019, the Cowboys had the eighth-best draft return in terms of Pro Football Reference Approximate Value (AV)? Big deal, right?

But did you know they accomplished that by having the fourth-lowest amount of total draft capital in that same span? That’s an important piece to the puzzle because we can’t honestly describe a team’s ability to draft solely based on their total draft haul. How much draft capital they have plays a part in all that (bad teams have more draft capital).
