During the season, both SJ and JJ have weekly radio shows. While the HC has zero. Big Mac doesn’t like to talk anyway but the Jones clowns think we need a double dose of their drivel weekly. Many times they literally undermine their HC and/or contradict each other. Pay attention to what they do. Not what they say.
Mike talks to Shan and RJ very early on Friday mornings on the Fan during the season. It's like right at the start of the show, just like they used to do with Garrett.

Then they do a replay a few hours later.

The Dallas Cowboys owners son has a weekly radio spot.

Yes, let that sink in. You read it right. THE DALLAS COWBOYS OWNERS SON HAS A WEEKLY RADIO SPOT.

This organization is the laughing stock of sports. The Joneses want to be the Kardashians so bad they can't stand it.
No, not all sports. Pittsburgh Pirate ownership is worse. The Nuttings.

Do the cowboys own The Fan? Such softball questioning.
It is not necessary for the Jones family to own them. Jerry and Stephen Jones attract listeners. Listeners are The Fans' audience. The number of listeners allow The Fan to justify their advertising rates. Advertisers pay The Fan to run their commercials before and after Joneses' interviews.

The Fan has two options like any other business. They can:

a. construct interview questions that might upset their guests, run them off to another radio station, and work hard securing ad revenue that the Joneses' bring in. Or
b. pose interview questions tailored towards not alienating their guests, thus retaining them long-term, and work less at pulling ad revenue dedicated to airing the Joneses' participation.

In general, sports talk is not news gathering. It is entertainment. The Fan will keep lobbing softballs at the Joneses to keep their listening audience entertained.

It doesn't have to be insulting or offensive. Just something like " I hear ya Stephen. Do you foresee a larger roll for Boahannon next season?"

I'm thinking they had to submit a list of questions prior to the interview.

It’s a travesty that the dude who wipes off Jerry’s glasses doesn’t have a show by now.
