Pete Prisco had Tyler Smith going to the Saints at #16.

Mel Kiper had him going to the Cowboys at #24.

I think it’s ridiculous not to take Jermaine Johnson there cause of need and value… but Tyler Smith is a good pick.

Doesn’t seem like a good pick. If they had at least held serve in free agency, I could see investing longer term. But they were decimated in free agency, and made no effort to replace what they’d lost. Smith does not make you a better team week one.

I will give Smith this benefit that he's a standup kid and not a knucklehead.

I'm just not sure he can clean up his technique. Definitely starting out inside.
