Best defensive player ever.

Best pro athlete of all time.

People forget things this guy did and the impact he had.

A pet peeve of mine is the term "shutdown corner." He is the ONLY one I've ever seen that was truly that.

Nevermind that he was a decent WR and MLB player as well. What???

Pro sports has never seen anyone else like him.

Michael Irvin was never shut down by Deion. The only WR to not be shut down.
It took an arm bar PI that was not called to do so in the 1994 NFCCG.

I loved Prime as a player but could never rank him anywhere near L.T.

Yep...respect back at you.

Thing is, while LT was great....beyond great...there have been other sack guys reasonably similar. Reggie White, Bruce Smith, Derrick Thomas, Shante Carver....etc

No one has even come close to being a corner that QB had to completely avoid, or was so good with closing speed that he would bait them by leaving WR a little open.

Best punt returner of all time as well.

Add in WR and being a decent MLB player. It's literally stunning how great he was.

Even though he is well known and quite acclaimed, he may actually be underrated. He was just that good in every kind of way.

I clicked the next link after the Prime video in the you tube and watched the start of new Cowboys era under JJ.

It was refreshing to see even though the triplets and Novacek carried the offense , it was the defense that kick started the game and put up points which led the team to victory.

After special team gaffe , short field touchdown , Bills were leading 7-0 and the Boys offense sputtered and gave the ball back , Kelly and the Bills were driving around the 50 yard line when interception turned the game , Aikman used that possession to get a TD ( Novacek ) , Haley sack and fumble was picked up and a defensive TD ensued. just like that the game turned.

Moral of the story , strong Defense is a need not luxury for playoffs!
