I'll check in and out. Not buying into any hype.

It really comes down to the post season after 27 years. Everything else is nonsense.

I’m excited that football season is just around the corner. But I don’t get hyped until TC and pre-season games are over and the regular season starts.

So much of what we’re going to hear for the next 5-6 weeks is pure hype. If you enjoy that, that’s cool- I’m not knocking it. I’m just not that interested until the regular season arrives. Most of the guys we're going to be hearing about in the next few weeks will not play many meaningful downs this season. A few will. But TC is mainly a hype-fest. Enjoy- if that’s your thing.

It's not good for casual fans. It'a only good for Die Hard fans that love to know all the details about young players

The next month is for players that likely will never see the light of day in September. People who think nowadays that performance in August has anything to do with regular season games are crazy. McVay doesn’t even play his starters in the pre season.

And now it’s rare to even see starters practice more than two-three times per week in training camp

Tyler Smith will play extensively in the preseason and he is highly likely to be a starter day 1.

I don't want to see veteran starters unless they're new to the team.
- I want to see draft picks and other young players that we have not seen extensively in the regular season.
- I want to see for myself if Josh Ball is really a 298 pound weakling like Broaddus claims.
- I want to see Ridgeway irritates some OLineman to the point that he takes at swing at him.
- I want to see if Farniok has a chance to unseat Biadasz as the starter at OC.

It's listed as a practice but isn't more of a...

1) pick your pads
2) here's your area
3) pass a physical
4) meet and greet

I don't think there's any real training going on those first couple of days.

Most likely up tempo walk throughs. Maybe 1/2 or 3/4 speed.
CBA rules state no team can have a padded practice until after 3 cupcake practices.

And I do believe that is the official language in the CBA, "cupcake practice" is an official legal clause.

It is crazy how, McVay doesn't play his players, and gets praised for it, but Garrett and MM don't play their players much, and get roasted.
