For sure I just wanted to have it.

Do you have any thoughts on guys who dont sign a lot of stuff? LOL

I do have a signed Zeke ball from Ohio State. Got it his rookie year.
Not really. Obviously its fame and scarcity. I know verified Ruth and Mantle signatures tend to do well. The reason I brought up Lilly besides the thread title and I freely admit to being a fan boy, is because I saw a photo of him at a show recently signing and I didnt think he looked healthy, but apparently healthy enough to be there signing and making money in his 80s.

BTW no criticism at all if you have Emmitt second greatest Cowboy. If my life depends on winning a game, he is my RB. The Emmitt/ Irvin win or die trying mentality is a big part of what this team has missed since they left.
Thanks RS, I felt no ill will from you whatsoever.
We have been blessed to have had so many great players that is hard to sort them all out.
I never had the privelidge of seeing Bob play, so I am sure that taints my perspective.

Mr. Lilly is one of the greats of not only the Cowboys but of the game itself. He played in a time that would frighten a lot of these young lads that we see playing today in general. Happy Birthday Mr. Cowboy!
