Haven't heard anything about his play on the field but haven't heard anything on Lawrence, Armstrong or Basham either.

Here is a decent interview with GBAG nation

Not only him but Turpin too. The guy was USFL MVP. He’s got to have something.

I’ve actually read reports that he looks super fast. He also has ran the patented JG end around on offense a few times as well.

Usually when you dont hear a CB or OL's name its a good thing.

Not hearing a peep about the guy they brought in to replace Gregory is NOT a good thing.

Based on the lack of guarantees in his contract, the value you added to the position in the draft, and his performance previously under Dan Quinn… it’s not outside the realm of possibility that he’s a camp casualty.

If you guys have not heard about Fowler then you need to find the DallasCowboys.com podcasts. There have been several mentions of Fowler wrecking shop at DE against any tackle NOT named Tyron Smith and when we run that stupid scheme that asks tight ends to block DEs all of our DEs are just abusing them.. Especially Fowler and Williams. While this is good news for the defense.. it makes me sad thinking about our offense and the running game because that inability of tight ends to secure the back side was probably the biggest problem our offense had last year.

I haven’t read one word about his play. I actually forgot we signed him it’s been so quiet.

Anyone have anything?

As Ronnie mentioned, there have been multiple mentions of Fowler.

I saw a media member tweet with a short list of player that stood out and Fowler was one of them.

I've noticed him winning some reps in the videos that I've seen.

In the individual drills, Fowler and Sam Williams look the quickest of the DEs, but Fowler is more consistent because SW sometimes gets his footwork wrong on the drill.
- i.e. Leads with the wrong foot and that type of issue.

I studied several game of Fowler after the Cowboys signed him.
- He is a very good pass rusher when healthy but has struggled vs the run.
- He has played more seasons on 3-4 teams and with 4-3 teams.
- He is an ideal pass rushing specialist in Dan Quinn's scheme.
- Quinn wanted to acquire DEs that had some 3-4 OLB type traits.
- Fowler and Sam Williams both fit that category.

If Fowler had been used in his career similar to some seasons for Robert Quinn, I think the results would be very similar.
- Quinn was a good pass rusher in the 1 year with Marinelli because he was allowed to abandon run contain in favor of pass rushing.
- Chicago gave Quinn similar freedom to pass rush and 'play the run on the way to the QB'.

He'll be fine. In the role Quinn has for Fowler, he should be able to match Gregory's pressure/sack output from last season. Or at least come close to it.

Despite the fact he crashed and burned in his one year with Quinn after a career season the year before.

But hey. Dan Quinn.
