If had to select one past player who I would want reborn and drafted again as a 22-23 year old in this pass-happy league today, I have one underrated former player, who if turned loose to go after the QB, would simply terrorize the league. Tom Landry never turned him loose unless it was at the end of the game and the other team was obviously passing.

He was athletic, also a basketball player in college.
He was 6'9" and had the largest wingspan of any player in NFL history
He blocked more passes than anyone in NFL history
He altered the arc of opposing QB's single handedly. Ask Everson Walls, who was a slow 4.67, but a ballhawk who intercepted so many passes due to this man's altering of the thrown pass.

He was larger than life.

Byron Jones
Diggs needs over the top safety help. So we need our other corner to be a lockdown corner. So my answer is Byron Jones.

Absolutely agree. The dude was a menace to QBs and a lot of times got into the backfield to grab RBs. I don't know if he's in the HOF, but he needs to be. One of the best DE I've ever seen play.

Randy White was my idol, I got to get to know him and work with him when he held several Big Man camps at my school...he did not disappoint. Great guy! I wish he was still playing!

Mine is a non former Cowboy but would like to see his skillset on display today with this team.
Have always liked Eric Dickerson. Liked the size with the speed.
I think he could have a healthy Derrick Henry type impact.

Too Tall was the 3rd best DL on his team.
- Randy White and Harvey Martin...

I thought for a bit on this. And while I think it would be great to have Larry Allen on this team, I think the biggest possible upgrade you can make is Romo.

Give Romo the same years with these players, and we're on a run.

I see Romo as a guy with a lot of Montana, Warner and Favre in him, all wrapped into one. I firmly believe had Parcells stuck with him for five years, instead of three, he would have won one.

But Jerry, and then Parcells and his three year rule, just wouldn't allow that.

So, I'll stick with White on defense. Romo on offense.
