Don’t be surprised if we see man on man single coverage this week and they stack the line. Put Turpin on the outside and Lamb back in the slot. Turpin with a stop and go and let Lamb work on a out route. And not a long out. Get the ball out of his hands. Take the deep shots here and there. A flag on some deep passes will help.

Asking CeeDee to be your #1 is one thing. Expecting him to do it with Noah Brown as your #2 is another. Of course he's going to get all the attention.

I mean...Since I'm already on record saying Lamb isn't a #1 WR in the NFL. Andre Johnson once went 1600 yards 9 TDS with Kevin Walter as the #2.

If I really want to make Lamb not appear like a true # 1.

Andre Johnson also one time went for 103 catches 1150 yards with Eric Moulds as the #2, David Carr throwing him footballs and Ron Dayne as the backfield threat.

Probably JJs plan. Make Lamb the #1 with no help so he looks like a bum, then at the end of the season nobody will want to sign him so JJ can over pay him. Genius…

After his comment about Moore and the OC duties he wont take. This is another great support for the team.

Go figure it out on your own CD.

I am really starting to like this coach. He has that "i dont care what nobody thinks of me" attitude. I respect that!

...lol..what happened to the other 9 passes?

.. only caught 2! ..dang.
At least 4-5 never made it to his hands! Then lets count the ones that were even catchable that were not in the middle of 3 defenders

So the defense knows the route before we hike the ball and they’re already there before Lamb is. Then have the pass thrown a foot behind him in the opposite direction he’s running towards. All courtesy of the OC and QB our leaders chose. It’s disgusting how the Joneses and McCarthy throw players under the bus so readily when they are the most incompetent ones on the team in their positions.

Hey Coach McCarthy…In what world is C.D. Lamb a better receiver than Amari Cooper? Maybe C.D. owes his production to the presence of Amari on the other side of the field?

But it would be nice if our OC maybe schemed to give him routes hitting him in stride; YAC is his strong suit I think…not contested catches in traffic.

i think Lamb is good enough to be a #1, but he needs to add some mass because his skinny body isn't going to hold up.

Lamb is plenty good enough to be #1. Would help to get Gallup back. Would help to have an oline for his QB. Would help to have a coordinator.

Ceedee sucks, and the only reason we are forcing him to be a number one is he was drafted high.

To be fair to Mike, CD often drops passes when he does get open. He's good for 1 to 2 crucial drops a game.

How many of those 11 passes could Jerry Rice have caught? Not many.

Whether because they were bad passes or because he was double or triple teamed, those were mostly uncatchable.

Not fair to throw CeeDee under the bus when the other WRs are JAGs and rookies, he’s got 2 defenders on him constantly and the balls are mostly over or under thrown.

Would help if he hadnt been restricted by a QB#4 who can't throw downfield .... Go rush @!

No ****. Anyone could have predicted that from the start of the year with the WRs the Cowboys had on the roster.
