I bet Dak's thumb gets better by the minute with the way Rush is playing. If there is one person on Earth that understands about losing a job due to injury, it's Dak. After all, every starting QB position he has ever had was because the starter got hurt.

The most beautiful thing about this whole deal is Dak doesn’t have to “rush” back now. He can take his time to heal as long as we keep winning. That was the problem with JG. Backup’s couldn’t do anything so Romo had to be rushed back to try and save the season.
