they have a very good defense and an OL that protected Rodgers well.
I'd say this, more than anything, is what the Cowboys should take away from this year's SB game, and not coincidentally, it's exactly what the Cowboys need right now.

rodgers was sacked 3+ times and hit 20 i wouldn't say that's the greatest protection of all time.

The Cowboys learned that when the Steelers commit 3 more turnovers than the Packers, the Packers can throw the ball a lot, drop passes left and right, and eek out a win.

Game simply came down to turn overs. Steelers made em and Packers capitalized on em. That simple.

I agree. I saw it mentioned that GB almost had a TD if the guy does not drop it but Pitt had a couple of plays themselfs where the WR was open down field and the ball was a bit over thrown. Almost don't count. :D

None of these lessons are news to anyone, but it doesn't change the fact that because things "can" be overcome it doesn't mean it is normal, or expected or as doable in all cases. The Packers did a great job, but their situation is not identical among all teams. Some can get by with less of a running game than others, some have better depth and can overcome injuries better than others etc.... The Cowboys just have to do a better job with what they have and in preparing for the possibility of injury and other problems.

he didn't attack the secondary because the OL could not hold up long enough in pass protection. that just shows you how long this has been a problem.

How long do you need to attack a corner who was working for the postal service a week before the playoffs?

Rodgers was sacked 3 times and won. Roethlisberger was sacked only once and lost. Fact is, Roethlisberger wasn't hurried much at all the entire game, yet still didn't deliver.

On the first interception he was hurried. But he didn't have a great game.

#5. Defensive Pressure cause teams to:

1.) make mistakes (Stealers)
2.) * drop passes (Packers)

* Too much is being made about those dropped passes. The fear of the Stealers defense led to those drops.

I don't think so - James Jones, who dropped the would be 70 yard touchdown pass, has had well-known issues with drops against other teams too.

5#. Play defense.

The Packers' defense allowed 25 points and the Steelers' defense allowed 24.

Both defenses surrendered over 350 yards of offense.

I don't think either team played stellar defense in this SB.
