Three home made lasagna's, salad, and garlic bread. Followed by a lot of pecan, pumpkins, and apple pie.

What are you having?

I'm a bit confused. We always have tamales. I just assumed everyone else did, too. I thought that was the traditional dinner.

Mexican food. Traditional on my dads side of the family though.

Mama Sue bought me a turkey fryer and I'm trying it out on a hen with cornbread dressing. For the the non chicken eaters we will have a spiral sliced ham with traditional fixins. Chased with pumpkin pies with whipped cream on top.
After reading two posts from above about eating tamales , they brought back memories from last month, we bought three dozen along with a neighbor who also got the same. When I used to buy a dozen I could eat six at a sitting. But when these showed up I could only handle four. They were big and came with a HOT sauce that would clean your sinuses.

We're having Mexican food this Christmas. This will be our first time not going with traditional Christmas dinner stuff. We're going to make some homemade enchiladas and pick up some tamales, rice, and beans from a local hole in the wall on Christmas Eve. I'm looking forward to it.

Oh and tres leches cake for dessert. Oh yes.

No idea what we are having. But I am guessing it's more traditional. Going to my Aunt's house. Sadly...she can't cook. Not that my Mother-in-law cooks any better.

Glad, I have plenty of food at the house.
