Really? That's awesome, Hostile. When did you play there? Any guys you played with make the NFL? Do you still keep in touch with any of them?

I only played through high school. Would have loved to experience the game at a big time school if even for only one game. You're a lucky guy.

Yeah, it is pretty awesome, I think.

Feel free to like this post as well SP.

Pre-wrap or compression wrap is helpful and it's light years better then the days when they used Gauze. Sometimes, especially if you have reoccurring ankle injuries, trainers will use pre-wrap adherent spray or adherent tape or patches, which gets a little sticky. That takes the hair right off of you and if used long enough, it doesn't grow back. If you just taped your ankles, a lot of people would shave them and sometimes that causes your hair to simply stop growing. There are a lot of reasons for it but it's not all that uncommon.

BYU has had a lot of interesting QBs -- Jim McMahon, Robbie Bosco, Ty Detmer. I'd love to know Hos if you played with any of them.

One of my favorite (if not the favorite) college games that I've watched all time was BYU's massive upset of powerhouse Miami in 1990.

Not kidding man. Before the days of pre-wrap, the gauze would kinda slide and it was kind of abrasive. You would have to go get re-taped at half all the time. If you sweat a lot, sometimes the Gauze and tape would kinda wrinkle and it was uncomfortable to run on or walk on after awile. Like your sock when it slides down to the bottom of the shoe. Annoying as all hell.

My favorite was the Holiday Bowl game against SMU. SMU had Dickerson and James and BYU had McMahon. Hated all of those players but man was that a great game. One of the best I ever saw.
