18 is Orton's number, so here we go...I'll start out with 5 reasons.

1. home field advantage
2. element of surprise, they won't know what to expect from Orton
3. Murray and the improved running game
4. Foles first huge' everthing on the line' game
5. Orton is being underestimated

6) Claiborne's return (yes, I do believe he improves our secondary)
7) Dwayne's return. Special teams can, and will make a difference.
8) Eagles coming in cocky will backfire. They've convinced themselves the 1st meeting was a fluke and are going to sleep on Orton.
9) Dez will bring unmatched emotion and passion to help push us to the W.

10) Ware comes up big
11) we get a turnover on a punt or kickoff to them and immediately score
12) Carr regains form, and gets 2 picks.... one for a game clincher

16- Holloman has had another week to settle in and improve.
17- all the pressure is on the birds, we are not expected to win
18-Orton has an opportunity to revive his career and possibly get a starting gig elsewhere.

1. It's a home game. Clearly the Cowboys don't have a huge home-field advantage, but it sure beats playing at a team that does.
2. This team has already beaten the Eagles this year albeit with Romo as QB. Although Romo didn't exactly light up the scoreboard: 1 TD pass
3. If the Vikings can whoop this team with Matt Cassell and Matt Asiata, then I have no doubts that Orton and Murray can do the same.
4. Harris is playing which gives the return game a huge boost and can shift the momentum in a big way.
5. Fade routes the Bryant have seldom been stopped this year.
6. The team will, or at lest should rely on the running game and quick throws.
7. The offensive line has been playing stellar lately and should give Orton plenty of time,
8. Orton will be playing with a lot to prove
9. Garrett will be coaching with a lot to prove and a lot to lose
10. There is a fullback on the roster
11. Orton is not playing with a monkey on his back nor fearing the looming headlines that may follow the game
12. Witten is still on the team
13. Cole Beasley will complement the quick routes nicely
14. Morris Claiborne adds some depth to the secondary and will bring his A game
15. Miles Austin is overdue for some contributions
16. The team is playing for a playoff position; should be extra motivated
17. Players SHOULD rally around Orton and step up to the challenge
18. If they lose, I'll fall into a deep, dark depression along with everyone else here

I know they had Cassel and Asiata, they also had both starting CB's out. With that , they still managed to execute a trap coverage INT that lead to Jackson's tirade.

Jackson's "tirade" was him responding to the WRs coach who told him he did a poor job of going up for and turning into a defender.

Kyle throwing to the man that is open instead of forcing throws is my biggest reason for hope. he has the arm to hit players in stride downtown.

i think he is going to be like a kid in a candy store tomorrow with all the weapons we have.

now will the o-line and murray continue to play good...who knows?

we true fans can only hope so.

the defense is the unit i worry about...

having harris back is huge imo.

i also see heath with a pick tomorrow on a deep throw..and i hope they send him on a blitz again like in washington.

12. The Andy Reid Curse.
13. Carr matches up well on small WRs
14. Claiborne will be back and has never lost to the Gals. Morris Curse

A lot of good reasons on here, tonight, after the game, we can come up with next weeks list of winning a playoff game.

To me winning tonight will show we have the character, if not the talent, to overcome adversity.

In the playoffs I don't expect much and would view it as more of an opportunity for future contributors ( Smith, Bryant, Murray, Harris, add your name/s ) to gain that type of experience

I think Foles is too stupid to realize how big this game is.

With that said, he'll be relaxed, which isn't good for us.

With Claiborne & Sterling Moore our secondary will be better.
