I thought this was pretty cool. Apparently, at the new practice facility, they have some original scouting reports of some Cowboys greats. Mike Fisher posted these.

It has Aikman's old phone number on it, probably from where he grew up in Henryetta. I might call his parents just to say hi and tell them that they did a bang up job.

The evaluator didn't even spell his name right. So not surprised his report was wrong

You obviously never saw him before the back surgeries. He could move around really well and take off for yardage when needed. He was always a drop back passer 1st and 2nd. However, he was not a Dan Marino/Bernie Kosar in the pocket.

Go watch his first few years, Aikman could get out of the pocket and take off. He always preferred to stand in there and throw the ball, but when he was younger he had the ability to outrun guys. Straight line speed he was pretty fast.

Aikman transferred to UCLA after breaking his leg against Jimmy Johnson's Miami Hurricanes.
