It will more than likely be the Cowboys vs the Packers and a memorable game no doubt. I can tell you the face value alone on the championship game is very close to double what the divisional game is. So those may go for $1500-$2000 range for a pair.

At this rate, I think I'll wait for the Super Bowl. There is a story in Forbes about how much ticket prices drop in the secondary market on game day. So basically if you can pick up and make it to a game at the last minute, you can be at an advantage. They studied the Super Bowl ticket prices, which dropped by 35% to 40% from the time teams are determined to game day. The prices on game day were lower than any other time.

I'm only 35 miles from the site of Super Bowl LI, so I'll take a gamble and wait until the end...assuming the Cowboys are in it!

Even if, $3,000 a ticket is insane.

That's stupid..face value changes for each game too? I wouldn't have guessed that..I guess it makes complete sense..if secondary market is jacking up the price more, it's bc face value also got jacked up

I'm willing to spend 1500 on nfc champ game..also willing to spend big money on the super bowl

But I don't think the divisional game is all that important...I went to the divisional game in GB in 14 for 400...and I had great seats

Face value is not quite double from divisional to championship, but definitely does increase.

During the season the face value stays the same from game to game (even the preseason games - which is ridiculous). But playoffs steadily increase.

Looking more and more like 3k won't even get you a seat at the super bowl

Not in advance at least..Maybe least minute

I don't even live in Texas...and I'd fly to Houston without a ticket and buy one on game day..I've done it for regular season games many times..always get the best deal that way...

I would do it for the divisional round..but my brothers wife is getting my brother a ticket to the game to go w me and she's completely against it bc it will ruin the surprise....so I told her I'd bite the bullet this one time

In the endzone for example.. wildcard/Divisional round is $140.00ea face value. For the NFC championship game it is $225.00ea face value. So not quite double but $15 difference. So almost double.

Good to know the actual face value to get an idea of how much markup there is.

Yup, keep in mind that is endzone in the 100's and 200's. Sideline tickets between the 20's have a much higher face value. I think endzone in the 100's is perfect. My season tickets are in 125 and 122 and I think they are fantastic.

I don't know why some of you are tripping. If you're not down to dip into your kid's college tuition, re-finance your house, or rob a liquor store to pay for your tickets you're not a real fan.
