Finally a weekend off to watch footall. Can't watch the stealers game though because of nbc and dish but oh well.

The only guy I am worried about is Tyron, we need him to dominate in the playoffs.

I'm not worried about him. Maybe that's a mistake but I'm worried about keeping Lee, the DL and DBs healthy and playing well. Unless the Boys shoot themselves in the foot with turnovers and penalties the offense will take care of itself although I worry some about a shootout where the last possession wins or loses the game.

Very encouraging news coming from the mouth of Tank Lawrence. "I'm ready. No issues." This couldn't come at a better time.

But Aaron Rodgers just said being healthy and fresh doesn't matter...

There’s a lot of things that go into it, but you’re a top-seed and you’ve been off for a week,” Rodgers said on a conference call with Cowboys reporters on Wednesday. “There’s added pressure of trying to hold serve at home and there’s the potential rust factor of haven’t played in a few weeks. A lot of starters didn’t play in that last game against Philly. We’re coming off a stretch where we had to win every game for the last seven to keep this thing rolling.

“There’s a lot to be said about momentum and about playoff experience I think.”

Hey Rodgers-- why don't you worry about your own damn house. We don't need you speculating on any downside related to our whopping everyone else's butt in the NFC

That one MIGHT be worth the expense and trouble of going to a sports bar IMO StarBoyz. KC has a very good defense and it's in KC. That's going to be a helluva game. I'll be rooting hard for the Chiefs but I give the Steelers an edge due to playoff experience and a better QB. I'm not an Alex Smith fan. He's a bus driver that can win in the regular season. Playoffs? Not so much. He's limited IMO.

Yep. People need to get over Tapper. At this point, we have 8 trusted D-linemen (Crawford Bros, Irving, D-Law, Thornton, McClain, Collins, Mayowa) and that's who we're rolling with. Gregory looked to be a nice addition to the line but he was always just a tease. Tapper isn't coming in after having been injured all year with no practice and making a contribution. These are the 8 guys we have. Best available free agent out there is Jason Jones and there's no guarantee he'd be any better than the worst of those 8 guys considering he'll have no time to get adjusted to the team. This is our 2017 playoff defense. Get used to it. We can make adjustments next year.

I'd take Jason Jones or Shaneil Jenkins over Tapper, any day of the week and three times on Sunday.

1 thing Marinelli has gotten better at as the season has gone on, is TIMING the DLine rotations. In the 1st game against Green Bay, he didn't put Irving out there until the middle part of the 3rd quarter. In 19 snaps Irving forced 3 fumbles, got a sack and batted a pass down against a tired Packers OLine.

In the final 5 game stretch of the season the defense racked up 15 sacks and 10 turnovers, most of these coming in the 2nd half when the the opponent's OLine is getting tired and Irving, Mayowa and others start simply running by them or overpowering them.

Or think what else Irving could have done if played earlier. Against TB, he terrorized Winston all game long.

You should be able to use your dish account to access nbcsports stream on the internet or through a roku or other streaming device.

I was wondering that but it seems weird that I can be abe to stream a channel dish doesn't offer.

Watching the seattle lions game was a joke on youtube. Terrible quality and a ton of them kept getting shutdown because it's illegal lol

I'm sure if Green Bay was the top seed Rodgers would be saying how important it is to have HFA and the extra rest for the playoff push. If Rodgers is trying to psych Dak out then he's having some doubts about his team and is hoping mind games will work.

Someone should remind him that we beat him on the way to getting the top seed. And one thing about momentum is you can always lose it.

But dish does offer it, others in other markets get nbc. (I do in Houston area) They don't have an issue with nbc, the issue is with your local affiliate.

Right on. Rodgers is just playing a game. Smells of McCarthy to me!

Yah... I for one am ready for everyone to get off A-Rod's uhhhhh "rod" lol

I hope our guys show him how valuable HFA can be-- lots of noise, lots of intensity, and lots of pain on the visiting QB.

Want to see him get absolutely crushed a few times on Sunday. I loved watching Jameis get happy feet in the 4th qtr of the TB game. Hope we can rattle Rodgers psyche as much as we rattle his teeth.
