Preseason expectations

Let's say last March I would have told you that Romo would go down in the preseason as would just about every QB currently on the roster. We wouldnt draft a defensive player that played until the 3rd round. Our passing game would rely on a 4th round draft pick. Both of our tackles would get hurt throughout the season as would our star CB... Morris Claiborne (right there you would start calling me crazy). Yet we would go 13-3 (realistically 14-2, we didn't lose to the Eagles for real) and would lose a heartbreaker in the playoffs to the Packers on a play that should have probably been called back on a penalty (sorry obvious chokehold is obvious). What would you have said to me?

I would have taken that. Honestly after Tony went down I was expecting a 3 or 4 win season.

Before Romo went down, I thought the team was headed back right to where they were today -- best of near best team in the NFL.

Expectations change. If you told me the team would be 13-3 and have home field, I would have expected a win.

I dont care about that.

If you asked me last week or after we won our 10th game we would have all flipped at this ending.

Thats why we are all pissed- we were the better team. We lost because our head coach is inept at his job.

Rookie QBs don't go 13-3 with inept coaching
