I took cover in the Walmart across from the stadium for an hr and half immediately after the game. Sirens and alerts going off everywhere

I've only made the 1300 mile (one way) trek to Jerryworld 4 times but I've been in that Wal Mart. Glad there were no tornadoes when I was there.

Man, I hung around at the stadium for about an hour after the game, and nobody said anything about a tornado warning. In fact, when we were coming down the escalator near the pro shop, there was a stadium employee at the bottom telling people to leave the building, everything is closed. My son and I walked about 20 minutes in the lightning and rain to meet our ride(had to get outside the gridlock), and when we finally got in the car, he told us there was a "seek shelter" alert and we needed to get inside. We went into a Chili's, and about 5 minutes later the manager announced that everyone had to go into the center of the building, which was the kitchen. We were in the walk in fridge, soaking wet, for about 20 minutes. Definitely not how I thought our day would end, lol.

I understand, it takes time. The hardest loss I ever had to get over was Dallas getting beat by pittsburg back in Jan 1976, those 75 Cowboys came so close. It took 2 years to get over that, and a Super Bowl win over the Broncos in Jan 1978 for things to be right again.
I thought the Steelers were your favorite team.

Yeah, not being from Texas my kid was pretty freaked out by the tornado stuff. I told him boring everyday life isn't where you get stories to tell. Going out and doing stuff, like watching a live Cowboys playoff game, dodging traffic in a lightning storm, and hiding from tornado's in the walk-in cooler of a chain restaurant, that is where you get stories to tell.

screw the offseason...we should be writing and chatting about the NFC Championship bro!! Get back to me in a month or so...let me conduct my respective venting and bashing of this inept coaching staff :)...catch up on some earlier posts..I just don't want to accept the fact our team lost again...when it matters most....I should have put a steel cup on Sunday..cause I clearly didn't protect myself.
Take your time, my man.........
