Some of ya'll must go through life miserable. Always looking to criticize something. The fact that the organization did it was commendable.Additionally, the organization never said anything about it, it was the widow who posted it on twitter. Obviously with her thanking Dak, Zeke, and Witten there must have been something else sent along with the letter. Why can't ya'll just accept a good gesture for what it is. SMH Pathetic mob mentality.

Ahhh that was nice. Would have been better if Jerry had sent some cash or season tickets. ;)

So, Jerry should of sent another letter to the wife, or whoever she is, forbidding her from not posting it to social media?

Or, was this some master scheme to get a "feel good story"?

There's no doubt Jerry's long time secretary, Marylyn Love, typed this up and printed it for Jerry to sign. Sure a hand written note from Jerry would have been a nicer touch but it's the thought that counts and I bet Jerry took time to read it before he signed it. Are you jealous you don't have someone typing stuff up for you to sign or are you not even important enough to have that need? I have a secretary that does the very same thing for me but not a damn thing leaves my office with my signature on it that I don't know about and agree with inside and out. When I sign it, it is my words and thoughts from me. If you don't get how that works then you are just ignorant of basic business practices. I'm delighted that Jerry's people take the time to do this and get Jerry's attention with it. It's a class move from a class owner with a class team of people around him.

Like the Romo haters and Jaylon Haters and Zeke haters the Jerry Haters can never admit he is not pure evil. Sad to live that kind of life. But they are welcome to it; I enjoy their hate. Makes them so VERY SMALL.

Jerry has done things like this for many years and only a fraction of them ever get known. You haters truly are pathetic.

Now I would love for Jerry the owner to FIRE jerry the GM but that is something else.

I wonder if the Steinbrenner family personally sent this or did they have their secretary do it for them?? :facepalm: WHO CARES!!!????? These are awesome gestures from class act organizations. People ask all the time, 'What is wrong w/ this world?'. Now I finally found the answer and can send them to this thread so they can see for themselves. Sad. Truly sad.

You aren't any better just because your on the "right" side. Sometimes people agree sometimes they don't but they we all have our views on things. You criticizing those people isn't no different than those on the other end. Only difference is you think your way is the only view that should be spoken on. That always leads to trouble even if I agree with you on this subject.

Any act of kindness is one more than the world had before.

Be kind to each other and try to do something or say something nice to someone everyday. It makes a difference.

Even on the zone, some kind words could make the difference in your fellow zoners day. Never know what individuals are going through!
