Here are you starts and sits for week seven of fantasy football action.

It’s that time again. Here are your fantasy start and sits for Week 7.

NOTE: This is a list of players who are on the bubble when it comes to deserving a starting spot for the week. Obvious choices won’t be mentioned, and likewise - some under-the-radar guys, will. Advising you to start Tom Brady offers no value to you as a fantasy owner.

Must Starts

Quarterback

Russell Wilson vs. Giants- He’s not had the best start to the season but the Giants are allowing an average of 21+ points to quarterbacks over the past several weeks. He’s got a real shot here.

Marcus Mariota vs. Browns- We pick on the Browns but start every quarterback that plays Cleveland. The Browns have allowed the most touchdown passes (14) and are allowing 20+ PPG to quarterbacks.

Running Back

Carlos Hyde vs. Cowboys- I mean, you have to start him. The Cowboys are giving up 118 yards per game and how much better will it be with Sean Lee and Anthony Hitchens? Until they don’t give up big runs and tackle, side with the teams that run the ball. Dallas has already given 20+ points to runners twice.

Mark Ingram vs. Packers- Green Bay has not been very good at stopping running backs. In PPR leagues, they’ve allowed double-digit performances to seven running backs. Ingram and his counterpart, Alvin Kamara are good bets this week.

Wide Receiver

Adam Thielen vs. Ravens- It’s weird to tell you to start a receiver without a single touchdown this season. Yet, Thielen is 13th in PPR leagues, he is the Vikings offense for the most part.

Pierre Garcon vs. Cowboys- Again, hating on the home base but Dallas has surrendered the second-most points and four scores to receivers on the road. Cowboys have to get it together in the secondary. Garcon has scored over 10 points four times this season.

Tight End

Hunter Henry vs. Broncos- He’s a red-hot option after I called him out a few weeks ago. He’s got two touchdowns and has scored 12+ points in each of the last three games. Denver is allowing the fifth-most points to tight ends.

Austin Sefarian-Jenkins vs. Dolphins- He’s seen so many snaps in the offense, almost 80% and is tied for third in targets. Dolphins are allowing the third-most points to the position.

Defense

Vikings vs. Ravens- They are a must for this week as Joe Flacco’s offense is “meh” at best. Three straight defenses has scored double-digits against the Ravens.

Jaguars vs. Colts- The Colts are easily one of the worst rosters in the league and are giving up the second-most points to defenses this season.

Sit Them Down

Quarterback

Eli Manning vs. Seahawks- Sure, he just got a win over the Broncos but he didn’t look particularly good in doing so. The Seahawks are coming off some rest and Manning is depleted on offense.

Andy Dalton vs. Steelers- The Red Rifle has thrown seven touchdown passes in his last three games. However, the Steelers have only allowed four touchdown passes all season. Quarterbacks are averaging less than 10 PPG against Pittsburgh.

Running Back

Eddie Lacy vs. Giants- Even though New York has allowed multiple backs to get over 12 points, the Seahawks are not establishing the run. It’s time to release Lacy into the waiver wire.

Orleans Darkwa vs. Seahawks- He’s a one-week wonder, do not fall for the 117 yards he got last week. The Seahawks will buckle down and force New York to pass to win this one.

Wide Receiver

Sammy Watkins vs. Cardinals- Watkins has been bad ya’ll and trending downward. He’s had fewer than three PPR points in three straight games. You just can’t trust Watkins to produce.

Alshon Jeffery vs. Commanders- He had a nice performance against the Panthers last week. However, the Commanders are allowing the fewest points to the opposing teams number one receiver.

Tight End

Martellus Bennett vs. Saints- He’s been a huge letdown and it gets worse with Aaron Rodgers’ latest injury that will keep him out a while. He’s scoring less than six points in every game, did someone say drop him? Oh yep, I just did.

Coby Fleener vs. Packers- It doesn’t get much better for the other tight end in this matchup. He’s scored just seven points in three games combined, the Packers haven’t allowed a single score for tight ends.

Defense

Packers vs. Saints- This one is too easy as the “Big Easy” has allowed only one team (Lions) to succeed. Their first four opponents scored a combined six points. Drew Brees is going to sling it on the inexperienced secondary of Green Bay.

Commanders vs. Eagles- Washington’s defense has been rather good this season but the Eagles’ offense led by Carson Wentz is allowing less than six points. In fact, nobody has scored more than five since week three.

Must-Start Dallas Cowboy of the Week:

Dak Prescott- He’s scorching hot with three straight performances of 22+ PPG performances. San Fran is a favorable match too, having given up 18+ points three of the last four times and 20+ points twice this season.

Honorable Mention: Dez Bryant- I truly feel that the Cowboys will need their passing game to shine in this one. Bryant is 10th in targets and the 49ers are giving up 34 PPR points per game at home. This is a game where setting up the run with play action will be huge for Dallas.

Must-Sit Dallas Cowboy of the Week:

Jason Witten- The one thing that the 49ers can seriously do well is stop tight ends. It’s too easy to pick on the Cowboys’ defense so we’ll go with Witten. He’s not been performing very well in fantasy this season after starting hot. Also, San Fran has kept Greg Olsen, Jimmy Graham, and Jordan Reed to less than 13 points combined.
