If I had my guess we won't do anything in FA. Not with this many picks.

Would be foolishness but I come to expect that from the front office now.

They easily could bring in a couple of mid-level FAs solidifying some positions like DT or S, and thusly take pressure off them in the draft to have to fill every hole with a draft pick. Further, with a solid mid-level vet, you likely get some stability and production right from the start and not have to wait weeks for the rookies to get up to speed.

But they won't. Because they have no idea how to build a roster and the last 21 years shows that.

I would expect with the number of picks, to see some movement on draft day those 4th rounders would be a nice sweetner to maybe trade back into the 3rd and/or move up in the 2nd.

That would be a mistake.

The draft is weak for olineman, safeties (free especially) and linebacker depth.

FA is weak at oline, wr, dt

With this in mind they need to use free agency and add a safety and lineman for depth and sign Hitch or replace him in free agency.

Targets-Preston Brown, Eric Reid, Tre Boston, Andre Smith

I suspect that's exactly what the front office is doing; or will be when the 2 week vacay is up.
Evaluating the team first then the draft and FA to identify needs/targets.

I have played with ontheclock a 100 times and can find WR/LB/DL/DB/RB/TE easily but OT are just MIA.
I cant even reach (within reason) for them. They just aren't on the board.

So I'd definitely be looking at OT in Free Agency and possible a Safety and maybe even an interior OL too.
Then yes use a couple of the 10 draft picks as fodder to move up or add another 3rd.

This year is not a good year to chase Comp Picks...our FAs are guys we want to keep like DLaw, Hitchens, Cooper

This is the year to sign a couple top FAs..... we have the money and the need

If they don't do it this year then all hope is abandoned...... Stephen will never be a player in FA again
