Will Hernandez 1st Round?

Sounds like Will hernandez dominates at LG. Wonder if he’s in play at 19 or if he could be gotten with a trade back to something like 25 where a 3rd rounder could be picked up

I was hoping we can get him in the 3rd but if he puts together a good senior bowl week he may jump out of our range in the 2nd. I'm not ready to call him a 1st rounder yet because the OG position is often overlooked.

Dudes a stud. I had him as a 2d Round target and we've got a chance there but he may get taken early 2nd.

Value is not there for us to take him at 19.

The only OG I'm taking in the 1st is Quenton Nelson.

I think the only other way I'm considering someone else is if one of the top OT prospects is pegged as a G when the process settles.

I heard Broaddus talking about Connor Williams at OG and that idea is really intriguing. IMO he's a top 15 talent so if he falls to us I'd have a hard time passing.

I'd say he is really in that 40 area. He might be the most powerful player in this draft but also might struggle some with quickness.

I'd definitely see investing our 2 plus a 4 to go up and get him given there are very few walk in starting prospects.

I got to see him a lot here at UTEP and he just mauls guys. If Dallas is determined to be a run-heavybofdense, he would be a big asset.

I thought he’d be a 3rd for sure, but A strong Senior Bowl & a strong combine and he could work himself to a mid/high 2nd or higher

Yeah I was hoping he would make it to pick 50 in the second but I keep hearing he is moving up quickly and could possibly be a late first round pick or at worst a very early second.

Hernandez has moved into the first round and at 19 would be legit, he is a starter day 1 at OG. I never watched him until the Senior practices.

Allen Lazard WR from Iowa St is a player but he might not be as fast as Witten. He will have to have routes like Keenan Allen or be a bad man like Anquan Boldin if he wants an NFL life he will not be running away from anyone on the field.

James Washington looked good from Ok state WR along with WR from Penn St Hamilton

DL Mo Hurst has more of a burst than Harrison Philips, Stanford had him 2 gapping and the guy gets off blocks and makes plays. Having my doubt that the cowboys are going to love Philips like I do.

Veta the big boy from Wash is a 1 tech for us, when he is engaged this guys looks like Dontari Poe, quick and powerful, probably in our scheme a 25 snap player for us.

I am very familiar with all the other Olineman in the Senior bowl and non look close to Hernadez from UTEP who I had never scouted.

I'd definitely consider him. I'd consider a really good OL in the first round, whether it's a guard or tackle. The OL is the engine that makes the car go.

I'd be in on that, as long as he's good in pass protection. Interior 3 would be freakish with him at LG. If Cowboys could drop down into the mid 20's, get him and a pick, the pick could be used to move back up into the 2nd to grab another top 60 guy.

IMO I see him around Forest Lamp. Gets talked about as a possible first rounder but falls to day 2.
Nelson will go round 1, but I could see Will go in the second round, especially with all the potential OTs going in round 1.

If you bolstered your OL and got an extra draft pick? that would be great.

I watched footage of him on YouTube and I would take this beast all day long! We haven't had a mauler on this team since Larry Allen. Hernandez is ferocious!
