Can't find it online yet, but 106.7 The Fan here in DC just announced the skins are signing Mark Sanchez to back up Colt McCoy. That doesn't exactly strike fear into the hearts of their opponents, lol.

It sure seems like it should. That would be such a skins thing to do if they didn't know about the looming suspension. Oh please let that be the case!!

It's Colt McCoy that the Cowboys will have to deal with. He almost brought the Commanders from behind to a win Sunday. The Commanders are going to pull out all the stops on Thursday and we all know how bizarre this match up can be.

If Gallup can't play, that is going to limit the Cowboys ability on offense against what is a formidable Skins defensive unit.

This game is no gimme and a typical let down situation for the Cowboys.

Ok, so apparently Sanchez was allowed to serve his suspension while he didn't have a team, and is eligible to play immediately. That doesn't make sense to me, but little of what the NFL does makes sense to anyone.

apparently they allow him to serve it while not employed....makes no sense to me....how can you serve suspensions when you can't even play? i guess it is like injured players serving suspensions...

He failed to catch on with a team for 2018 after receiving a four-game PED suspension during the offseason. With the suspension now out of the way, Sanchez will get his chance to earn a backup job in Washington.

Do you remember the last time McCoy quarterbacked the Skins against the Cowboys? He probably can't keep them going long term, but he can put together strong games that will be hard to beat.
