LMAO, it has been so long since the Cowboys even sniffed around a SB, none of us would know how we would feel losing it.
Our mindset is a little warped when history is applied. 20 winning seasons in a row, 8 trips and 5 wins is ancient history yet some still hold onto that "SB or bust" mentality.
The most difficult move many fans have to make is to the "new Cowboys" from what was a once proud franchise that the playoffs were home to and it was seldom a case of will they be in them but how far will they go. We had more of a right to our expectations back then because we were spoiled. Now? How in the hell could any Cowboys fan feel anything but elation at extending the season, if but for one game?
If that had been the Cowboys yesterday, I would be disappointed but satisfied with the season. Only 2 teams get to the NFCCG and we haven't been 1 of them in 23 seasons so I struggle to understand the "SB or bust" mentality as a Cowboys fan. We haven't won a divisional game in so long, how in the hell can we even relate to the SB hangover?
