Game was bad.

Commercials we average.

Wasted 4 hours yesterday.
I tried to tell all y'all but would you heed my warning? Noooooooooo, just had to watch anyway. Folks, booking Maroon 5 was an omen.

If it is any consolation, I started a Star Warsarama and was on Revenge of the Sith during the SB. I don't know which is worse, watching Brady win another one or Hayden Christensen try to act.

There is no fanbase or team that can feel as bad as ATL and SEA giving the game to NE. That is a loss that hangs around a while. One of my ATL buds is still in mourning because he doesn't know if he will get to see another one with his team in it in his lifetime.

The Cowboys have lost 3 SB's by a total of 11 points and 2 of those losses were to the Team of the 70's and a good candidate for GOAT and in all 3 of those losses the opposing team knew they'd been in a championship game.

I've watched every Super Bowl from SB 5 and that was by far the most boring of all. Yeah, a win is a win, is a win, but neither team looked like a true SB caliber team and the Rams seemed happy and content with just having made it to the big dance and didn't seem to give a **** about actually trying to win the game. a total boring predictable punt fest. I feel bad for those forking out thousands to go see that game live. A total waste of money and time.

LMAO, it has been so long since the Cowboys even sniffed around a SB, none of us would know how we would feel losing it.

Our mindset is a little warped when history is applied. 20 winning seasons in a row, 8 trips and 5 wins is ancient history yet some still hold onto that "SB or bust" mentality.

The most difficult move many fans have to make is to the "new Cowboys" from what was a once proud franchise that the playoffs were home to and it was seldom a case of will they be in them but how far will they go. We had more of a right to our expectations back then because we were spoiled. Now? How in the hell could any Cowboys fan feel anything but elation at extending the season, if but for one game?

If that had been the Cowboys yesterday, I would be disappointed but satisfied with the season. Only 2 teams get to the NFCCG and we haven't been 1 of them in 23 seasons so I struggle to understand the "SB or bust" mentality as a Cowboys fan. We haven't won a divisional game in so long, how in the hell can we even relate to the SB hangover?

Well said.

lol, you can thank the sweet Lord that you're not a millennial coachy! At least you remember 1 or 5. I'm waiting for selective dementia to set in so I don't remember the ones we lost. Trust me, I remember the ones we lost and I remember the hang over after.

I was 12 when the Cowboys played in their first SB which was SB V. They lost in a 16-13 heartbreaker. They lost SB X and XIII to the Steelers in close games. Sure it was painful. But they also won SB VI and also won SB XII.

Bottom line- we played in 5 SBs in the 70s, winning two, losing three. And sure the losses hurt. But as a lifelong Cowboys fan, the last 23 years of ZERO SBs hurt a lot more than actually losing a SB!

That's an expression of the way you feel BH. I don't feel that way. I've seen all 8 and it's a privilege. The fact that we whine about not being in another tells me how much we're spoiled. Of course I don't live in Texas

NC, I’m glad you don’t feel the same way I do. I disagree with you, but I respect what you’re saying. I’m just being totally honest when I say not playing in a SB for 23 hurts more than the disappointment of losing one. And I don’t see expecting more than what Jerry has delivered for two plus decades as whining.

I respect your feelings too brother. I remember the ones we lost more than the ones we won. Jackie Smith still flounders like a flounder in my dreams. I have very few memories of the ones we weren't in so it doesn't hurt at all. Peace brother

Just about every team not named the Patriots have done that over the past 20 years.
Not true. The Cowboys join these “juggernauts” in not only not reaching a SB, but not even a conf championship game in the 21st century- browns, lions, skins, texans, dolphins, bills and our Cowboys. That means 25 of the 32 teams in this league have reached a conf championship game. So no, it’s not “just about every team not named the patriots.”

This fanbase has become full of cowards, much like our owner.

I remember a time when no one was afraid of losing, or what the consequences of it might feel like.

We were once Sparta. Now we're about 50 - 60% bronies.

That's a little harsh, as far as the fan base. I remember a time when this team would lose a game and you'd feel sorry for the team we were going to play next because they were going to get a butt kicking. The players hated losing as much as the fans and you didn't see them trading jerseys, gloves or hugs after games. I'll never accept, or feel good, about this team losing. Fact is, the fans are not cowards, they're sick of the management breeding mediocrity and want to get back to dominating teams rather than being laughed at. They're VERY critical of this team and they should be. Jerry needs to look up the word accountability and apply it, especially to himself. . .
