NFLN is now reporting that OBJ wants to renegotiate his contract that he signed last year. Wants to get what Brown got from the Raiders. This could get interesting.

Is he getting more than what Brown got now or is he trying to get a raise? I thought he had a bigger deal than what Brown got.

The Giants claimed repeatedly that they didn’t sign Odell Beckham to trade him. And they’ve now traded him. After paying him $21.459 million for one year.

That’s the final total of the money paid by the Giants to Beckham under the terms of the new contract, coming from a $20 million signing bonus and a base salary of $1.459 million

That’s exactly what they’re doing. Eli is done and they’re unloading any big contracts.

For all of Beckham's theatrical displays, he has rarely, if ever, got them a victory, much less sustained success.

Hell, even his signature play that everyone loses their minds over came in a LOSS to the Cowboys.

And yes, in answer to your question, "that makes them smarter than us"?

Usually, the answer is "yes".

Our ownership would never, ever, have the guts to trade a talent and take a risk.

First, they don't have the brainpower to execute the details and second they lack the ability to understand that the idea is to win and not to sell the brand.

This organization doesn’t have anyone like Odell to begin with. They don’t have a cancer in the locker room who’s the best player on their team so I’m not even sure why you are even trying to compare the Cowboys to Giants in this instance.
