What if Jerry is fine with Zeke sitting out half the season so he can then find out about Dak?

Big gamble, but oh a telling one. If Zeke was to hold out until after the season started, I would also find out about life without him by not giving him a start and looking for a trade partner.

If Dak can win with Pollard and company, he’ll prove it’s his team. Then you can give him the contract he wants. If he fails, I guess he has to cave to Zeke. Then we gotta go QB shopping in the offseason.

You see what I mean?
not his plan or he wouldn't have offered two big contracts to him, zekes the one holding it up, jerrys trying to get him in here short of setting anew market..

so NO thats not his reasoning but could end up being the end result, put more on Daks shoulders and see how he responds..IM not sure he can, imo he will end u looking a lot closer to Jamis Winston as he starts slinging it around..

Correct ...Jerruh is 76 (I believe), the time for this type of game playing is long past.
With that kind of money he could live to 130+ if he wanted to... but he spoke about the interview that he eats Popeye's chicken "a lot", which means he's probably not all that interested in longevity like I am. Also he's religious so he probably believes in heaven and hell, something I can't relate to but I guess I can respect.

So...Jerry Jones would be happy to risk a potentially great (SB, maybe?) season so he can further analyze his QB — who he’s already said WILL BE PAID at current market value — because he doesn’t want to pay his two-time rushing champ RB less than half what he’s likely gonna pay said QB...??!?

If Dak has a slow start to the season, he’s not going to suddenly ask for less money.

Jerry isn’t gambling with the team’s potential like that.

I hate this whole thing.

The only possible positive, imo, is seeing how this team performs. It's actually made me curious. I'm sure I'm in the minority but at this point my curiosity has gotten the better of me. Let's see what happens a few games without Zeke.

That said, I cannot bring myself to hate him yet. I'm afraid as soon as I start hating him they'll sign him to a five year contract. The Faulk thing has got me on the edge but I'm holding steady...

Quarterbacks NEED good players around there. The myth that Brady has won 6 on his own is greatly exaggerated.
