You must not have seen much of him playing for GB, he did that a lot for them. He was never a slouch.

I'll ask you that in about a month when Cobb is on the shelf and Beasley is balling. Say what you want...but Beasley was a tough SOB. Hated his twitter rants... But he could play...and play through injury. Cobb needs to prove that.

I know he was not a slouch. I just thought we didn't need both Cobb and Austin, because I personally wanted Pollard to spend more time in the slot. And cutting Cobb would have given us a comp pick.

Right away, Cobb makes a difference in the red zone. That throw was short of the sticks, so it was a 4-point stiff-arm.

You forgot to mention Beasley's pass completion to the Jets for the touchdown. He's quite talented. He was able to hit the open man just using his knee.

The rest of the league has a big problem if Dak can consistently hook up deep with our #2 WR. Gallup got himself open and Dak got him the ball.
Teams will stop Zeke first, then Cooper. That doesn't leave a lot extra to cover Gallup.

I thought there was a big difference.
Firstly there is the stat line where Cobb had 60% more yards and a TD but it extends beyond that. It’s the type of plays he made, deep crossing route, stiff arm extending play, the end around....Beasley can’t do none of that.
Beasley is a 1 trick pony who makes majority of his catches 6-15 yards out between the hashes. Cobb helps us be multiple.
