Right now, if you include Super Bowl VI, this series is tied at 7 apiece. A win on Sunday breaks this tie and ties the regular season series at 7. Not since Nov. 22, 1973 has Dallas been tied in this series overall. This is over 45 years ago (going on 46).

All of Miami's wins vs. Dallas has come in November and December. This will be only the 2nd September game against the Dolphins and the first one at home. The Sep 16, 2007 win in Miami had Marion Barber scoring a few times. The last on being a 40-yarder in the 4th quarter to seal the 37-20 victory for Dallas.

A win vs Miami locks up Dallas having head-to-head leads against all teams in the AFC East.

(Dallas leads NE 7-5 currently; 8-4 vs Buff; and 7-4 vs Jets)

I remember watching it on delay as I was at work. The Dolphin kicker missed so I was jumping up and down, my parents then came in and my mom said just watch, and I saw old Leon Lett doing something stupid.
Haha exactly. Highest of highs to the lowest of lows. 1st time my heart had been shattered as a sports fan and I’ll never forget it.

Ironic that it came on the day that you’re supposed to be thankful for what you have. LOL I felt the opposite of thankful.

The 1993 Leon Lett game still hurts. I was 8 and I cried.

Don't worry. I was 28, and I cried too.

My similar experience occurred Thanksgiving, 1974. I had just turned 9 years old, and decided to cheer for the Commanders just to spite my Dad. Washington was comfortably ahead, and then Roger Staubach got knocked out of the game with a concussion. In comes Clint Longley.

I've hated the Commanders ever since that day...and that was the first and ONLY time I was foolish enough to cheer for a Cowboys opponent.

My Dad's revenge was buying me a Steelers Terrible Towel for Christmas in 1976. He laughed and laughed when I opened that gift.

What a kick in the rear.

We usually play poorly for some reason against Miami.
The Leon Lett game I listened to on a radio via the armed forces radio that was for American soldiers in Germany, the signal in the UK was always hit and miss and I couldn’t believe it was snowing in Dallas lol

,,,Er,,,off hand, I'm thinking you've might of inadvertently omitted Baltimore, perhaps? As I recall thinking they've held our house keys in a continuous manner, gleefully dangling em' over our heads till #4 rode into town& jackflash slapped em' hard up side the head to where their still stumbling in& out of conscious revelance.

What does Baltimore have to do with any of this?
I specifically said AFC East.
Ravens are AFC North.
