Their final drive ends in tragedy

At the Cowboys game some of the biggest cheers where when they showed highlights of the Eagles losing. There was a guy in a Wentz jersey a few seat in front of me. When Detroit went up 20-10 someone walked past him showing the score on their phone. It was hilarious.

If it’s the 4th quarter and I need a drive to tie the game or seal a win, I take Dak every single time in that situation over Wentz. That’s the biggest difference between the two, IMO.

Wentz is wierd. I personally don't like his teams personnel. But everyone this offseason considered them the most talented and deepest team in the league. So it says something that Foles can play with that type of team and get the most out of it but Wentz seems to underachieve.

They’ve been awful quiet so far this year. Lydia pipes in every now and then still hating, but most of them are hiding.

I listened to it briefly a earlier today and one caller was like "I'm tired of you saying that it's early in the season, Dallas has a 2 game lead on us." Imagine the meltdown if the lose to the Packers and the Cowboys end up 4-0 by beating the Saints.

If you’re talking about igglephans, it’s been a source of entertainment for me for 6-7 years now. Anything and everything goes there and it’s where I found out about EDP445. If you don’t know, go to YouTube and prepare to spend hours.

The eagles personnel, is very good IMO. If Jeffery and Desean aren’t hurt.

The issue is, Desean is a 33 year old speed receiver who has been hurt every season the past like 5 seasons. The eagles should have expected him to miss time.

Doug Pederson, as good as a coach as he is, gets too pass happy at times and abandons the run. They also do the RB by committee but sometimes struggle with getting their RB’s in sync and when and how to use each one. They don’t have one guy they can just keep in and run every play from, like the cowboys do with Zeke.


Lastly, and most eagles fans I talk to will say this, Wentz to this point in his career has not been clutch in crunch time. He hasn’t really “choked” where he just makes boneheaded or dumb plays when the game is on the line, but he also doesn’t get the job done in those situations either. The last two weeks, he had the ball and a chance to go win the game. He failed both times. Now the team didn’t help him much. But his decision making has also been suspect. He tends to rely on 50/50 balls or force balls to receivers in those situations.

Dak has been much better in those kinds of situations. It’s something that you can see from watching them both and it’s something that the numbers prove. If the game is on the line. You want the ball in Dak’s hands over Wentz’s. That’s just the reality up to this point in their careers.

Whatever happened to the guy that put together board comments from around the league every week as our games were on....they were always fun

I watch WEntz hes not bad at all..hes having the same issues as is rookie year, 10 dropped passes some critical and hes under constant pressure ie online breaking down. they dont have a key RB to count on and throw too much..

I think the wentz sux bs on all boards is way over the top.. He dak and Goff all abut a tie in skills different players but in completely different situations.. you put him here today with us and hes looking like an MVP/..

Wentz is complete garbage in the clutch and the numbers bear that out.

Came up short yet again today. He wishes he had Dak’s clutch gene.

I once visited an Eagles message board in 2008. They were expressing their wish for rival fans to be immersed in an industrial vat of raw sewage, or something like that.
