It was obvious Dak wasn’t to blame. It was the worst performance by the offensive line I’ve seen in a long time. I guess since the Atlanta game.

Here you go Rockport figured as we're not going to be playing dogs from here on out you might need this book......

I don't think he was great by any stretch but he also wasn't the sole reason we lost. There were a few passes that I am sure he wishes he could have back including the toss out in front of Cobb for what would have been a TD. And Cobb should have caught the one short third down throw but it was behind him.

I think the overall game plan had more to do with the loss than Dak but I'll let the people who watch the All 22 weigh in on that. It just seemed like the aggressive play calling we saw in the first three games wasn't there against the Saints. Then again, we also played three tomato cans so maybe it was just really, really bad defenses that made us look better than we were.

For sure.
I'd say the defense in general did pretty good, they held NO to FGs. The offense? Not so much.

Odd game for the defense. They held them to 4 FGs but NO had the ball for nearly 37 minutes that game because the defense just couldn't get off the field. We played passively on defense and it allowed NO to just dink and dunk their way down the field. I certainly wouldn't blame them for the loss when the offense could only generate 10 points themselves but I just think the defense didn't do enough to press the NO offense. We seemed content in letting Bridgewater just throw short all game, which is his comfort zone, and they churned up time. Get a few more early stops and the offense may have had 2-3 more possessions and in a 2 point game, that's a big deal.

Yea, Quinn looks like a great FA acquisition. A beast on the edge. Wow , what an impact in 2 weeks.

Our offense laid a turd Sun night. Hopefully they’ll bounce back against Packers . And this defense plays as tough on ARod.

Yep
Saints offensive holding calls was placing them in long distance situations which isn’t Bridgewaters strength. It stifled several drives.

And Cowboys offense only converting 4 of 13 1st downs after leading the league the first 3 weeks at 58% was a huge factor as well.

“I rock this avatar for attention! To upset people like you!”

Yeah, THAT isn’t pathetic at all.

LOL who raised this woman? I’m so sorry that you didn’t get the attention you needed as a child. I know you’re crying on the inside. No wonder you’re so fond of the emotional man-child that is Dez Bryant. That’s YOU!!!!

Too bad now you’re a complete LOSER who’s even a joke to the masses on an internet message board.

Really? Its a forum for Cowboys fans. as @WillieBeamen knows I am not a fan of his opinion of Dak, but to come on and resort to name calling in the same sentence as calling him a man child is beyond ironic. Calling people names is something a kindergartner would do. We all root for the same team. Willie believes Dak isnt a top 5-10 QB as is his right. I believe Dak is. By the end of this year he will be paid like one so we may as well come to common ground at this point. I am much more confident in Dak then I have been in awhile. This last game was a brain fart of epic proportions both with execution and game planning. The red headed tumour that is our HC should have been jettisoned in our 4-12 year for not being able to win a game with a backup. Payton has now won 2 games with a backup. Thats what real coaches can do. Either way, grow up.

Yea, we’ve seen this tactic over and over again with fans frustrated by other fans opinions resorting to personal attacks attempting to discredit the messenger if they don’t like their message. This site does a good job monitoring activity but reporting them helps.

The Defense is built to play exactly that style of game. This was on the O IMO. Couldn't sustain drives, gave up too many opportunities, didn't take advantage of any that were given to us. To me, this was all on the O. JMO

The two fumbles were the difference.

As was mentioned, they kept our offense off the field and controlled time of possession significantly. The short and intermediate game destroyed us even though we limited them to 4 FGs, it was still one FG too many.

In a game like this with limited TOP and scoring opportunities our two fumbles were critical.

One cost us probably at least a FG attempt and the other led to one of their FG attempts.

Elliotts fumble after converting 4th and one maybe the biggest of the two . And Wittens fumble was after converting a 16 yard reception which would have set us up on their end of the field.

Always have cared about Deion's opinion. Who's y'all?

Welcome back btw. Good to see you come out of first 3 week hibernation.
Yall homers

According to the children on this site, Deion shouldnt be considered a Cowboy, solely because they hate some of his anti-cowboy rhetoric.

Its hilarious that now Dak homers actually care about what this guy has to say

We killed ourselves Offensively. I mean, the way the game was called didn't help us at all, no question. However, you look at that game and how many of those FGs were linked to TO's from the Offense. I mean, I just don't think you can look at this deal and find any significant amount of fault with the Defense.
