... For the Green Bay Packers. On the road.
*The Pack can be grateful that despite their almost 4th quartet letdown, their opponent can be counted on a 5-yard penalty that makes the FG kicker fail on his second try.
*The Pack can revel in the knowledge that they can squander opportunities but the Boys coach can help them with an Unsportsmanship penalty.
The Packers, when we meet again, can laugh inwardly that if their QB somehow messes up, ours will carry on the torch of Romo that produces 3-picks days.
*The pack can smile that they let up a bit too early, only to see the Boys roar back and snatch a loss from the jaws of victory.
*The Pack know that their RB can score four rushing TDs and that our super-rich RB is content to have the occasional big play.
This was a real victory for the Pack, but let us count the ways it's also a moral victory for them.
The Boys can flex their muscle in the regular season, against patsies, but the postseason will be fraught with good teams, some average like the Saints but most talented and well-coached like the Pack.
(Big Edna from the group home and Fast Fatty from the shelter will make the beer run to make us forget this game.)
