The true measure of a team is to go up and down the roster and say to yourself would you take this player and his contract for your own team if you had a chance. There are almost no players on this team that jump out at you where you would say yes. The exceptions that come to mind are the following:
1. Dak. He is on a nice rookie deal and is worth much much more. This of course will soon change for the worse.
2. Gallup. Nice developing player on a friendly rookie deal.
3. Quinn. On a sweet 1 year 7 million dollar deal. More of this please.
4. Byron. On a nice 1 year 6 million 5th year option.
5. Cobb. On a decent 1 year 5 million dollar deal.
6. Heath. Would consider him as a decent back up safety on a 4 year 8 million dollar deal (final year).
7. LVE, Malik, Brown, Lewis, Awuzie all players contributing that are on team friendly rookie deals.
8. Loony and Sua-Filo are decent veteran back ups on reasonable deals.
As you can see from the list there is not much to be proud of. Thankfully we have been drafting well and getting contributions from the players on their rookie deals.
